Monring Scooby although you might find at times that DKL is a shaggy dog story I think the company do have the technical know how to manage Cashew Nuts production. There are some read across strategies that they have learnt from CPO production which may mitigate some of the wrong choices they have made at times. I suspect the company are already in test production but officially- always with the caveat that unless 4 weird kids and a talking dog turns up- then we should start in June 2021.
In fact the Cashew production is no big mystery unfortunately. It is all in the RNS.
"Under a phased development programme, the plant at Tiebissou will commence production at an initial RCN processing capacity of 10,000 tonnes per annum. Within 12-24 months, production at the plant is expected to increase by 50% to 15,000tpa at no extra capital outlay by increasing the number of shifts of employees from two to three per day. From this level, it is envisaged cash flows generated by the plant will largely fund a doubling in capacity to 30,000tpa. The Directors believe the Cashew Project, which will capitalise on a shortfall in cashew processing capacity in Côte d'Ivoire, one of the world's largest cashew growers, will be cash flow generative at the initial processing rate of 10,000 tonnes per annum. "

I will be shocked if it doesn;t go through as there is majority support for it (52%) by the controlling interests and that is before counting others who will almost certainly vote for the proposal. Who knows, perhaps even a second bidder could be smoked out as Telecoms is a cut-throat business, Yes the guy who thinks this should be 200p is out of touch but as the offer gives cash of 170p a share and ZEG have shown they are no mugs then I think 150p is fair value here.

Good morning Noel. Not a bad punt for me. I knew consolidation was inevitable in Telecoms. Still going to add as I believe the company know what they are doing and the NAV discount remains too large. They bought back shares at well below the offer price so another bonus there. Keep buying.

Fair point Rugs but I am sure that St Brides rep at the AGM said he would look into it. If it wasn;t a St Brides rep then it would have been a Optiva Rep. Same outcome though as we are none the wiser many announced then cancelled trades later. Frrrrrustrating!
The price weakness far exceeds what should be happening even in an AIM stock. Lincoln has long been saying in his puff pieces that the company's true value and the SP are out of kilter. Maybe so but there are events which they can manage which will correct the disconnect or least put maximum effort into and that is production of CPO during a benign pricing environment and to hit the ground running in Cashews.
It is dispiriting to think a 33% rise is required just to reach 6p where we were before the placing.

After the rise to £52 and a baseless retrace to £45.36p I see an opportunity to pick up more here. Gonna average down at the next opportunity.

Disappointing to be down 25% from when it reached 6p but DKL is the ultimate test of patience. Might be worth watching the weekend Press over Easter as DKL have a fine traditon of ahem planting stories and tips around Bank Holiday weekends but other than that straw I guess it is batten down the hatches until the next update. The beginning of Cashew production will hopefully not prove to be a tough nut to crack.

technical on the UT trade of 2.46p. Unless there is a large unreported sale to come.. It would be very disappointing to to be in the 4.5p range after the good progress of recent months but i think we will find ourselves back at 4.7p once a correction occurs in what must be a false drop.

Frazzle, You could try Etrade though I am not personally with them. I if AJam with II and AJBELL and find they are reasonable even if AJBELL is a little more expensive. II do free regular investments and give a trading credit from your £9.99 monthly fee. I recommend II to any noobs though of course it may not suit your personal trading style.
