RE: UK inflation data19 Feb 2025 10:25
Hi jamman
Well said chap, I've been nibbling away, some great shares running at a discount, I've been building my ftse portfolio up.
Since Trump got his beak into Ukraine I've been buying a portfolio of shares that will benifits a end to putins illegal attack on Ukraine, I've 9 stocks in there, seimens will be great benefactor.
I've a few more to add, Ukraine needs rebuilding, some company's will milk billions in contracts.
Apologies of topic.
Had to buy a few more at 82.96, jd buyers are drying up, that's fine by me, I can understand why, a lot to swallow lately, fear of losing money, ect ect, but there will come a time when FOMO comes into play, recently the 100000 buyers paid 86 to 89p why when it was in 81p range for 4 hour.
From 1st Feb I've been using profits made to buy sub 85p,tax bill due for profits, I've a accountant chap sorts my private affairs, I've bought via profits 51000 jd shares sub 85p, so ive sold 51000 of my jd 123p shares. They will be booked in as losses for tax affairs ,while I make from trading profits and buy jd shares from profits reducing my high valued jd shares and book losses for my accountant to reduce taxes.
Same name amount of shares held, good house keeping,
The 93p does feel by my charting bit of a milestone now. We will get there.
