D14 I have no connection with the BOD other than what people here know from going to Denver to see the wells and then meeting in London twice in the evening for a drink, I don't belive everything that is said as I understand that company's are self protecting and like to keep their share holders happy with a fine line of not disclosing information, Eric has emailed a couple of times and answered questions I've sent and RP has phoned twice, I think I know more about Highlands than the average PI purely thought research and meeting the team personally but what I pick up is really a bonus to me for taking the effort to find to make judgment in my holding, to be honest I don't belive anyone and I think that's the best way to think, I do belive we are different ends of the spectrum when investing and in our investment strategys which is fine, but you are trying to effect peeps negatively here which I'm not to fond of with being invested, anyone who calls out numbers I don't like and I don't think is fair game, but on the other hand I do enthuse positively on posts! Agreed but we can't guess there would be penalties, they have declared in the past so no reason not to declare now, the agreement is for at least 6 wells so for that until we hear more! True's deal was pretty straight forward and unrestrictive to Highlands as a company moving forward and one of the reasons this deal was chosen!

How would an operator know that his figures are not good or could even be better, they see their production data and they think that's the best they can get out of the well or wells but unknowing to them the production data can be greatly improved by taking into consideration all other wells producing in the vicinity and pressurising. So as the data and awareness increases in each basin about what operators are doing to each other wells then to increase their reserves this is the solution. It needs the focus and resources which it is now getting it started with the Permian test and can progress and move forward, didn't have it before with Powell and WildHorse taking president and why not got to have this money to market and now have it. We have data from the Permian Horizonal test not just singular well data but real multipad data from wells in a group with wells completed with DT and without DT so this is an idea situation that data can be analysed and compared against each other, not just IP but longer term to understand how much is lost and gained over a longer period of time, so would have thought this could be marketed to wells with a similar well spacing with a basin similar geology. Would an oil and gas operators be willing to lend their well with two bashed ones there must be some offsetting taking place to allow for this. The wells in a basin or an acreage position need to be in a stage of development that a number of wells are already producing so the Permian Basin is a good start as is the most developed one so there is better chance of more oil and gas to be saved as there are wells are being developed closer than any other basin, also every basin and well spacing is different so a test must take place in the DJ basin. For instance an 8 wells on a pad would be 660ft apart and might needed to be protected from each other all depends if the wells were all completed together then this would not be a problem but what you will find is the first stage of development is too drill two wells close together like highlands have done to prove the section and be in production so this would leave 6 to be drilled and completed left! The next stage would be to get on with them, so now the first two would be at risk of bashing because are producing so would be a parent well so will need protecting from the well closest to the producing ones that is being completed/fracked! The next step after all 8 are producing would be to infill drill now this is even more contentious as the well spacings would be more closer at 330ft apart with more chance of well interference so the group of wells would need to be pressurised to stop the wells being infilltrated with frack fluids!
