SRA737 + PD-L1 in SCLC!12 Jul 2019 09:29
“In fact, Byers and her colleagues at MD Anderson may just have found SCLC’s Achilles heel.”
“Their research suggests that DDR inhibitors can rapidly boost an immune response and make SCLC cells more vulnerable to immunotherapy.”
“Earlier work from the Byers lab demonstrated that the pathways cells normally use to repair DNA damage, collectively called the DNA damage response, are overly active in SCLC tumors.”
“Using a mouse model of SCLC, they found that adding Lynparza, a PARP inhibitor, or prexasertib, which is a CHK1 inhibitor, to an anti-PD-L1 antibody, led to a dramatic shrinkage of tumors. In contrast, immunotherapy alone had no significant effect.”
“In fact, in some cases, the tumors disappeared completely,” Byers said.
The study, “Targeting DNA damage response promotes anti-tumor immunity through STING-mediated T-cell activation in small cell lung cancer,” was published in the journal Cancer Discovery.

So this research proves as Thoth stated as there’s is much evidence, the MD Anderson Cancer Center were using Lilly’s Chk1 Inhibitor Prexasertib with an Immunotherapy PD-L1 in SCLC as this article suggests then the was the trial in same Cancer Center as SRA737 was used as a Combo with LGD (Low Dose Gemicitibine) and Immunotherapy FD approved drug Keytruda and the results were startling with the tumor regressions, then ?Lilly’s Prexasertib was discontinued because they released that SRA737 was a superior Chk1 Inhibitor!?
?If you check the link in the this article it takes you too the research below with the name ?Triparna Sen who was the same person responsible for the SRA737+LDG and Keytruda Trial at MD Anderson in Texas!

Dr Sen reports that this combination with immune checkpoint blockade and DNA damage repair completely regressed tumours in mouse models
