This sector down in general today. Its how the market works. One day its pharma day. Another day its hospitality. Another day its another sector like retail. Wish could top up each time a sector drops as the next day a pick up but funds are limited but diversification in a portforlio is key to keeping a steady value. Not too worred. Gla.

Hats off to those in at basement. Ive taken a chance on this one. Just going to park it up and hope for the best. Not my usual strategy and know we not market leaders but everyone deserves a gamble. Goodluck with this checkout, I had got in too a little while ago to diversify my portfolio a touch. Fundatmentals look good, the rate limiting factor as with any UK stock at the moment will be what Boris says in a few hours. Even if house moving is off the cards a little while longer do not be too down beat, it will simply means more estate agents will have to fold in due course (saying with my buisness hat on and not in a shrewd way) meaning RMV as market leaders will get even more clout. Thanks for all the info provided. I am a pharmacist by trade and invested in this on the the basis of the technology, its fairly niche and I do like SOH and think he is steering a steady ship. I have held a little while now and have a fair holding at an average just about where we are now. I do feel we need to start signing some big contracts in supermarkets and pharmacies but these things take time. Now for my newbie style question - STBX relationship to OPTI if any? I have heard STBX banded around the board here and there but ive always just looked at the science behind OPTI's product with such faith it will come to fruition as they have several USPs which the world deserve.But if anyone can help out with my query that would be fab?

Your quite right mr copper the divi does uphold share price to a certain degree however not to the value of 40 to 50 percent however. Longer term investors should buy a company based on fundamentals then a natural increment of SP to follow due to profits and finally divis. I would not like to lose my divi but thats the nature of the market at the moment. If the share price drops because of a cancelled or suspended divi then use it as a top up opportunity as a company such as this will not have cancelled divis forever and the extra shares bought will reward you. Ps mr copper your a well respected poster in mu opinion and no offence meant. Just sharing my opinion.

Perhaps i missed where its stated the divi is 1.3. Tbh i do not mind if they suspend divi until next year as if it means longer term security. While im sure we have enough financial headroom to manage a divi n get through c19 i would hate to see us take chances. Ive held for some years now and they never miss a beat with their divi but in this case they could be excused. If not more than happy to take the divi and have a few more shares :)

All in all its been a decent 48 hours here. Might sound crazy as we one of a few down in the market but its been productive for company and in turn for us finances raised. Lets get this green light and let the country need us to move around and lets see what happens. Imo and good luck

Just covid mate. Had to park up and stand still the same as the aero sector. On the plus side for us is we are going to be moving again with a verbal green light intra country. Now im not de remaping aero as they will recover too. But on the ground transport first. Its a market correction. Our fundamentals remain the same but its inevitable as with every company more or less the balance sheet will look wonky. But its all as it was. We wont double in price over night. But slowly as everything else recovers SP we shall too. And i do believe the savvy moves of cancelling divi and placement was genius as it might mean we get them extra few contracts and leg way to sustain any unforeseen drama. Relaxed and happy. Imo and dyor of course. Be safe.

As stated in my comments below. We just need the inevitable green light to get the country moving again. Nex will be primed to get people back to work and less cars congestion charges etc. Hopefully absorb a few contracts from those who couldn't absorb the park up period and placing sorted well above these levels. Held a long time. Averaged down and look forward to a price like December and even divi kicks off next year. Would even be happy if we hang around these levels another 3 months.

Was a tactical move by nex. Worked out just right. Could of worked out bad if the demand to fill the book was not here and the dilution was at cost of the SP. Such moves as this and cutting the divi for now and reassuring a future divi shows how savvy and confident we are at the same time. A very long term holder and once we start moving around again here and in Europe it will all be as it was a few months ago. Feel intra country travel will peak while flights are a no no but i really do not want to ramp and this all in my opinion. Be safe all.

That was my understanding. A weighed average with a plus minus 5 percent rule but not a fixed price but i may stand corrected. I do not think the numbers 220 and 250 are plausible hence the price now. Fundamentals are the same plus headroom. Happy holder still.

Good luck in the smaller lottery and there will be no big overnight gains here. But no overnight losses. This market will trade red and blue plus and minus ten percent. Bigger bigger is a market correct will happen for the big boys who sign defence contracts like mggt like childs play. Do not bring down the integrity of a decent share chat room the way you do. There is not many positives to be taken here but we must all remember health is wealth and the sp will do what the sp will do in due course and we each have our own thoughts. First n foremost as long as we keep our health there is no sp attached to that.

Everything you mentioned is applicable to the whole market sir. Mind you i cant remeber sub 2 quid on this but i might be mistaken? Even then so we have no reason to visit such low levels. We absorbing everything as well as can be and just waiting it out. Bottom may or may not be here but there are fractions of the current price to achieve a bottom. Id like to think we are there. But long term staying around these levels. No chance. This a solid company and will do just fine imo and will never see the prices you banded around and thats not my opinion thats a fact im so sure. Get real. The market is down. Times are odd. You really think think this will drop to sub 200? Of course you don't. Sadly your bad mouthing a share in hope of scaring people away. News flash. The scaremongering can make a few thou panic but not change a share price as big as this. Not saying all is well. But banding round 100 to 150 is quite silly. This post will be here forever and ill eat my hat if im wrong. Ups and downs within reason. Same as any larger company.
