Well, this is something of a major change. 300m+ shares now in issue--at least TXP have been able to continue for the past decade without diluting into the billions of shares like some others. Debt was probably looking disproportionate to known incomes and maybe lenders wee not so keen, hence the decision to raise- Dunno, just a thought. CB is obviously still on track and announcement perhaps imminent now they can prove funding for managing and developing it. Second half of this year should at least be punctuated with news, workovers on existing CB wells, a new casc well, tie-ins for 4 and 5 and then 2 new CB wells. At least they can move forwards--

@micru. Folk selling as there is no more excitement to look forward to in the short term.--and many are not bowled out of the park with the results. Doesn't mean Zephyr is a bad company.

@ebbsandflows. The main benefit is that the well is in contact with a much larger area and will produce for a longer period than if it were the vertical alone. Most long laterals don't increase daily production by a huge amount, 20-30% is quite normal. Result was very good for an onshore well, there are not many that produce over 1000, I made a post last week to say that I would be surprised if they got more than 1000bbls of oil, but it would have been considered trolling or deramping by those talking about multiple thousands per day so I never posted it. Anyhow--I expect there is some relief in the Zphyr camp that they have managed to complete their first well successfully.

Bo. S has mentioned a coupe of times that the Helium in Mud is 1100+ppm, is he saying that the expected HE is about 1.1% from the formation, same as in the mud. Anyone remember the ppm He in mud from Darwin 1 compared to what they found on test? Did they correlate?

@lolly, yep. Production is another expected event, and the bod have already given the expected flow rate and % helium. They still have to prove it, still have to demonstrate the efficiency of the psa separator and still have to show that the wells can flow on a continual basis. Thought I would keep hold of these this time around but could see it dropping back a bit and I have to be cautious and preserve cash. Looked at miri last week from a mention somewhere but I couldn't visualise the business or understand why the poster believed it would multibag so I left it, watched it rise and now look at it. Lucky escape.

It's not necessarily what I believe to be the case but I asked myself a similar question as to why not mention it at Darwin 1, and if it was there then why not not at least run wireline logs--maybe they did but decided it wasn't sufficiently newsworthy at the time. But:::Now that they are getting more information and confidence in the size of the field and if there are just a couple of barrels or so per day available at each well, for a minor investment it could potentially be a cumulative profitable prospect.-- perhaps for someone else---maybe I'll put in a bid myself if the oil flows unassisted to surface, I'll put in a small storage tank at each well and then run along and empty them every 100days or so. lol. Without wanting to be slated, I have yet again sold mine here just after open 10k and 6.5k ish, 16 and a bit pea. Well, I added some just now at 4.6. Seems like there is probably some upside from this point.

I said previously that I wouldn't anticipate any major re-rate with the Linda news, it's not unexpected and therefore already priced in. The catalyst would have been flathead. but not this time around and I fully get why they would want to preserve the well with what they have already established as opposed to risking it and going for flathead 'just because'.

Result so far is what the bod have already said it would be and the flow test should just seal the deal in that respect. Weil 1 needs to be revisited fairly soon I would suggest so as to get that cleaned up and re-tested. The pipework gas collection system needs construction and testing and hooking up to the separator and get it fully commissioned . Looks like a bit of a wait unless the bod come up with another 'unknown' event to boost the interest and SP.

@lolly. 1 possibility is that having a drill string rattling around for 3 weeks may start to cause damage to the zones they are happy with - that is, if they prolong the rattling around further. Could be another reason, this is just a possibility.
