Well, lets hope it was in fact a flare causing the excitement. If it is flowing and hydrocarbons are present, it is great news but also a bit disappointing we weren't informed about completion of tubing and connection to the well head valves, separation and storage tanks. Can't have it all I s'pose and if we do have hydrocarbons then obviously the other stuff went ahead. As someone recently posted, they will have to rns very soon as the cat is already on the loose.

@ Casper, if that's the case then I guess its my mistake, I had some idea they were doing 24hrs with RC drilling. Tks for the correction, makes things look a bit better tbh.

@Casper. Hole 3 is RC drilling and therefore no cores. It will have sample bags with drill cuttings. Hole 3 should now be complete, 500m RC is basically about a week's worth (or even less) of work, so if they started on say Monday 20th After the rig arrival that weekend then it should literally be done and dusted. If they have a plan for the position and direction of H4, tbh that one could be well under way and also not far off reaching its target- maybe by Monday if it is also going to 500m.

Rock chip samples can be tested much quicker and if they are able to be selective, they could just select the cuttings from say 265 to 280 metres similar to WRSDDH0008 and get those results back around the same time as the H1 cores. Next week might therefore be the big reveal unless they sneak it in today at 4.30pm.

And anyone that has seen it have another look, it's a wonderful thing.

Too early for anything definitive. They could perhaps say that it's all hooked up and the prod tubing is in and the well has started discharging drill fluids---which would help with the information trail. The Initial flow test likely to be 30 days from when they started, EWT likely to be 3 months. Not sure that we can be certain of if/when they started therefore the end date is a bit of a finger in the air job-- Unless someone on here know for sure.? In theory it ought to have been a couple weeks ago which means mid Nov for the 30 day test period. They flippin could just let us know whether the well is in fact flowing anything at all under its own pressure.

@pharma. Time will tell how quickly/slowly the wells deplete. Rudyard is a large area to drain but flow at individual wells does depend upon connectivity. Just my view but depletion will be slow on the basis that the volumes extracted are not huge, they won't run them flat out and the reservoir covers hundreds of acres. = plenty of time to create revenue. First thing's first---get the gas out and through the separator and then into a tube truck to take to the local He Sunday Market. Drill some more holes to give flexibility and further income -- take stock of how its all going. Revise the plan and carry on. Christmas is the new Summer, better late than never.

RNS wasnt very inspiring, sold mine asap after 8.0, it was still up a couple of % but obviously going to drop. Don't think there is anything wrong other than there is still a lot of work and waiting to do.
