Ref I aintgotaclue--in answer to the question from earlier, the reason for going through the pain of getting on the framework agreement is that a some point there is usually a better chance of getting a contract than if not on the framework. Trouble is, there are few clear and level playing fields when it comes to who actually gets the job. The frameworks set the agreed rates for certain activities and it gives a 'buyer' a list of approved names to use and it shows due diligence by the council, but if there is a good and plausible reason to circumvent the framework agreement and use an entirely different company(.just to give the work to your favourite vendor) then that is what often happens. Once ASH confirm a deliverable contract, for how much and whether there are potential add-ons etc then it will be a different story--the framework is however a good start. Oh and don't forget, a contract for 26million does not necessarily mean any profit if they have priced it too keenly---been there too often. Good that peeps are making money here today and best fortunes to all invested.
