Not ideal but Huawei and Chinese relations with western countries have had similar issues over the past few years. I don't think it will affect the JV in itself. As others have said, we just don't know for sure what will happen with the JV and can only go on the updates we have, which have been positive. Anything else is speculation.

Completely agree. Investors are very nervous and reactionary at the moment. Even the slight drop in the Lloyds price yesterday after 3 weeks of solid, steady gains caused panic, outrage, people selling their entire holdings and declaring investing dead! Completely unbelievable.
The drop this morning is an incredible overreaction.

Yup, 580 is exactly my next buying level if it goes there. I also have a sell set at 720 for the tranch I bought at 649 yesterday. Which gets triggered next I have no idea.

Just bought another tranch at 649.3p.

A meteoric rise. 50% since Thursday! I've been selling off tranches that I bought on the way down and at the bottom at between 10-15% profit, the latest was bought at 635p and sold at 721p just now. Wondering if I really should have held onto them all now :)

It's a big ask to expect a 2 month 40% slide to be recovered in a couple of hours. The news is extremely positive and we haven't seen the full impact yet. The SP will likely continue to rise as the markets digest.

I bought in at 1000p in December and thought I'd done ok averaging down to 959p! The magnitude of the fall has been a bit shocking but in for the long haul. Will not be topping up any further until a bounce back is firmly underway!

I've held Lloyds on and off since 2009. I've taken profits at times when it suits me. Sometimes I've bought at the "wrong" time and waited years.

Hang in there. Yes it's disappointing in the short term, but take an objective look at the fundamentals. Things will come right eventually.

Faulkes, is it not at the current price because that's where the market - all things considered - currently values it? So I don't think it's right to say it's unattractive at this price. People are buying the shares in roughly equal quantities as those who are selling...

Some expectations must have been very high. The divi is not bad... Look at where we are now compared to a few months ago or last year. Happy for the impatient few to sell up and then I expect the share price will steadily move upwards... I
