“KP1 financial model shows value increase of $325m per $10 increase in base iron ore price.”
So basically iron ore moves $10 from their base case and the Npv of the project increases by $325 million.

Moving now a bit more. 3 main assets here are:
1. Kalia. Npv anything between $500mill to $1 billion (fe price dependent)
2. Konta port- cost $120 million
3. Kalia ferro nickel- Npv circa $100 mill - again depending what price used.

All 3 assets valuable and of strategic importance and we have heard from Julian Cheong to day advanced talks on the port and they have been approached by global players and financial institutions for kalia.
This price is a gift imo. Dyor

My opinion is we will do very well here.
The driver is the nickel project of course but it’s just being patient for that once in a lifetime rns to hit.
I’ve added some to my sipp too. We will see of course what happens but any positive sniff of an asset sale , jv then its going vertical.

Strategically - bellzone holds the cards.
They have a port- 4 million tonnes a year expandable to 10.
They have a world class asset between simandou and the port.
And they have a ferro nickel project which means they have focus and no need to accept a take it or leave it offer .

Imo bellzone is in demand now the government has woken up.
And that is why global players and financial institutions have already made approaches.
If would be nuts to develop simandou before kalia.
The interest on $20 billion for the railway link would be circa $250 million every 3 months at a guess.
They could take out bzm possibly for that or at least jv something and save a stack of cash scaling into simandou.
So Imo simandou won’t work without kalia. And kalia won’t work without a port.
Now bzm is of strategic importance to guinea I would expect big money to arrive.

Now the government have woken up and they wish to start exporting its a key asset.

Very confident on this one. Possibly the best potential on any market seeing as though asset value vs mcap has such a discrepancy. And the fact that they are in advanced talks to monetise assets.

Shouldn’t be a delay.

Neil- I think it is more realisation of where they are.
In talks to monetise assets which have a value possibly 20x this mcap.
Market has missed this.
Also government in a position with policital will and investment to now move the projects. Last year it was different.
Market somehow ignored this but likely not now. Gl
