Key Points for the combined Chuditch, Chuditch North and Chuditch South closures ("Greater Chuditch") within the Chuditch PSC:

· Total gross estimate of Mean gas in place (GIIP) of 2,320 BCF

· Gas recovery expected by Shell to be in the range of 55% to 75%, leading to gross estimates of Mean recoverable gas of 1,276 to 1,740 BCF, considered by Baron to be Prospective Resources

· Risks associated with trap, reservoir and charge for the Greater Chuditch closure were considered by Shell to be zero (that is, the Geological Chance of Success is assumed to be 100%), remaining uncertainty being on the volumes in place

The Timor Leste asset for me has multi pence value here imo. Shell have said it has 100% COS. News in 2 weeks about development. It’s 400BCF ish net to BOIL which is enormous. Plus news on Peru drilling and farm in for other asset

The conference items in 2 weeks suggest news flow and development could be soon.
400BCF net should be £100’s millions and as it’s gas it isn’t reliant on oil price as much. More local gas prices

Company says they have enough cash until year end. Now placing has been pulled they don’t need the 1.5 mill any more

Well diamond horse on twitter says placing at 0.6p and he has informed the nomad of a disorderly market - implying that too many shorts need covering.
Gary Newman says he doesn’t think there are many open shorts in the placing. Opposite view then.

Kai- I’ve answered that on twitter.
99.99% of the time forward selling the placing is far less risky for the placee as they part with no cash and make on the margin. They can only do this though if they are short.
If we assume that all the placing is flipped then I alos assume that everyone flipping is short. No one in the right mind would put 20 grand cash in , in the hope list admission they could be sold at a profit.
The flipper would sell at anything over 0.4p pre admission and the margin would be the difference between 0.4p and the sell price minus commission but they part with no money.
See previous notes on partial trades and delayed prints. The volume on 17th June or before tells us nothing
