I've always believed that some routes will be given up by other airlines while the virus is affecting things and I feel Jet 2 will snap them up. I don't know Easy Jets size but Jet 2 is a grower!!!!

It's a good company, well run and the sale of Fowler Welch and a rights issue of £176m recently means there's money in the bank to ride this storm out!!!

I just bought last night - 2 from LBA to Tenerife at £45 per flight!!!!! Are Easy Jet doing that????? Jet2 are best for Value for money with NO hassle!!!!

After a shoot up to 36.5, a red finish is disappointing. 30.40 is back to where we started, just about, but roll on tomorrow and next week and lets hope the new floor is 40 by next Friday - IMO : )

Tom - I did - after investing though : ) Tip from Mark and Seamus and Twisty - mates from Amigo bb and they all like this. So I had a look and like the thought of Vela's investment in 6 companies in different spheres of industry and a CEO with a great reputation of creating BIG value in the companies he runs. Much like Amigo's new CEO!!!!!

Senator's last post was Sept 30 at 17.10. Only ever bothered with Amigo so I reckon he might have been a pro on here to spoil JBs hype and now the job is done his purpose is served!!!

Jarv - bed time now but I will leave you with this - we on the Amigo bb know MIC as they are called and they have a significant stake in Amigo and have a shrewd reputation as they invest for the UAE state so whatever their reasons for investing it bodes well for Vela!!!!!! Vik - We do that in Tenerife. We go there every year, slip straight in to the holiday and we are comfy!!!

Viking - Feb/Mar 2018 we did Singapore, Bali, Phuket, Penang and Kuala Lumpur on the Saphire Princess. I love that area and we will go back!!! : )
