In all walks of life you never accept the first offer. Newmont may have first dibs but the Chinese are next door so a fair price must be paid and as OMI and Newmont have been working hand in hand for so long I don't think cheeky offers will come in to it.

Craigy - I totally 100% agree with teaching Financial Services to kids. As my name suggests, the best education I ever had was in my training to become a Financial Consultant for the Pru. Personal Financial Revues had to be completed for every client before advice was given and the advice had to be proven to the client - not selling for selling's sake or commission for me!!!

Kids need to know how to earn money, how to spend money and how to save/invest money. My daughters know everything they need to know and although I am not in the game anymore they still run things by me before they do it.

I would hate to be a teacher - unless it was Personal Finance to GCSE or A Level standard.

The share price fell because of no news and boredom. Now news will be coming thick and fast - more patent aps will be approved worldwide and when this gets to the end of phase 3 trials the sky is the limit. It doesn't take a seasoned investor with a specialisation in pharma products to realise that!!!

It's been a while since we chatted - I missed the old gang. It's like a ships company reunion ad Ark did not need to get involved - but he did which was his downfall : )

Vela has investments in a covid treatment for diabetics, a company going to IPO net week that has treatments using cannabis oil, it's invested in MODE, a gold miner and a few other companies that slip my mind.

The biggest attraction though is the new boss James Normand who was at AAA which has now multi bagged and all accredited to him!!!!
