This is my take on the economy...
We're in a stock crash now, but the effect is inflationary, so cash is the worst place for your money, as its value reduces every day. Gold, Silver and Bitcoin/Stablecoins are probably the safest haven along with company stock intergrating with Ai effeciencies. Ai agents can't transact using fiat, and the blockchain allows truth through contracts to be completely verifiable, visible, and for transactions to happen at internet speeds, unlike the current Swift system. Therefore this is likely to change, the Internet will become completely blockchain based, with Ai agents will soon act as 24 hour autonomous gate keepers of all data. Humans will access the Iinternet (new web 3.0) through a new interface style operating system.
I would also say AI is creating a hyper exponential growth curve with value creation happening instantly, unlike the Internet bubble of 2000. It will last the next three/five years before levelling off. Helium is part of this growth as compute requires super cooling. Helium is the only gas that doesn't freeze solid at absolute zero. Quantum computing needs Helium to keep cool and stop interference and will grow rapidly. Compute and power are the life blood of Ai!!
A controlled crash may occur to a degree, which we will likely see the effects of in 2026, this would be where companies not using Ai can no longer compete. These will go bust, and when they do they will take down some large trusted institutions. If your pension is invested in these companies, then yes, pension funds may heavily fall in value.
There isn't enough capital in western economics to allow a full crash and Ai agency will continue to grow rapidly alongside, so liquidity will continue to be produced, with a risk on, risk off, process playing out. The long term goal will be for Western societies to create Ai systems powerful enough to lock in future western protection and this will take at least 5 to 10 years. This will cause an acceleration, not a slow down.
