Let me add that this scenario only happens if the mkt maker is working an order. If the mkt maker shorts them to you or sells them off his book then your buys buys will show as buys. This is true for every market except for maybe the fruit and veg market. Could AIM be different? Highly unlikely

Yes it means that there is a seller and the seller goes on.
Let me explain……
Let’s say the seller has left an order with the market maker to sell 25mm shs. And then you buy 1mm shares from the market maker. How do you think the trade should be put through? You’re peeved that your 2mm shs do not show as buys… and he would be peeved that part of his 25m are not shown as sells. The ticker tape/trade reporting is supposed to give a fair reflection of what is happening. Hence why your buys show as sells

I love it that they market their deals as “finance that rewards growth”. I suppose it’s snappier than “finance that rewards Lanstead whatever happens!!

Yes Lanstead own 60m shs from the deal at @ 25% discount to VWAP but they also got 37.45m free shares! So actually they own 100m shs well below the current SP. So they could sell here and will be thinking about that definitely. But what they should do is take the stock to a level where volume trades. If that is mid-teens then so be it. Then they get their next load of stock at 25% discount so around 0.1p. Much less risk to Lanstead and still the faint hope of upside. and . At the moment all they are doing is getting longer in a stock that has no volume!

I suppose finally I’d say that we’ve always had viruses forever and have never seen the need for anti-viral filters in the past. And indeed there are so many viruses I’d say what’s the point? This anti-viral agent is specific to Covid 19. What about flu , a new variant of Covid or indeed any airborne virus. Nope. Cave missed the great NHS giveaway (despite being a gold member!!) and that my friend I think is probably that.

My scepticism on this stock with regard to filters has always been 2-fold. Unlike you I personally don’t think there is a market out there. And secondly although the NNN tech is patented, there appears to be a lot of similar anti-viral products out there, albeit using different chemicals.
Given that Panasonic, Samsung, Alstom all seem to have a comparable anti-viral chemical to apply, none of them appear to have seen the need to move into the HVAC market. My own view is that there just isn’t the demand. Perhaps that’s why Honeywell have not proceeded with their anti-viral filters? Maybe, maybe not.

It’s as I thought, I’m teasing a bit. So, does that mean that the difference between having a normal filter vs an anti-viral filter is simply that it will protect whoever the poor sod is that changes the filters ? Or is there some other benefit?

So here’s a question I have. What is the need for an anti-viral coating to filter media?
My understanding is that viruses are trapped and are not redistributed by the current filters

Duffers took the company from masks to no masks, SA to no SA, and “we have enough money” to the Lanstead deal, all in a few short months. So he took the firms stated aim from SA to a capital raising in the space of 3-4 months. On that basis alone, please don’t believe a single thing he says

I would sell but fortunately am not long and the stock cannot be shorted. Perhaps I should approach Cave for a stock borrow?
