Today's presentation in San Diego marks the official turning point for Fusion Antibodies.

Adrian remarked many years ago when he joined Fusion that Optimal is the reason he joined, the reason he works for shares and the reason he gets paid in shares.

Adrian and team have successfully brought Optimal to market. I am sure he is very happy, even happier with his 850k shares ready to rumble as Fusion enters the world stage.

Interestingly he hasn’t bought any since May. I believe the board are still in a closed period. Now Optimal has been officially released will this close period end soon?! I’m sure everyone at FAB wants to own more shares…

I suspect we are more likely to receive an RNS tomorrow to coincide with the presentation at 16:00 tomorrow for UK audiences.

The last placing was at no discount.

Almost all of those new shares were taken by a fund who must hold them for 3 years minimum.

I can’t remember current cash position of the top of my head. Burn rate is being effectively managed, it’s a sleek operation.

Currently I have no fears about a raise. The company is doing a big recruitment drive so they are clearly expecting increased revenues after the launch of Optimal. Maybe already in negotiations for Optimal contracts as there has been interest building for some time.

The question on valuation is an interesting one. Given we are on the AIM market it will be tough to reach the staggering valuations of our US competitors but that should not sway investors away from the tremendous value on show here today. After next week Fusion will have presented to the biggest names in the industry. If they are not on the radar already, they will be on everyone’s radar next week. At our current MCAP we are a steal to the big guys. I would also argue even at a $100m valuation we are still a steal given the tremendous budgets big Pharma sets aside for acquisitions.

Two examples of note from across the pond.

ABSCI

Revenue - $2.8 million

MCAP - $547.35 million

Clearly ABSCI is valued on their tech not revenues. Fusion is in a similar situation. “Worlds first” antibody tech CLEARLY has value.

Fairjourney

Revenue - €79 million in 2024

MCAP - strong performance led to a €900 million acquisition in 2024

There is big money that has taken position in the antibody space. Quality companies providing results are attractive in this market, especially when they are as cheap as £20m!

Pedro Carmo, our most recent new hire, has just left Fairjourney to join Fusion as a senior collaborative research manager. I think this is seriously telling as to where Fusion is heading. You don’t leave a $900 million company for a £20m one unless big things are coming.

The future is FAB.

I'm sure you loved the most recent budget you bottom feeder.

They have been getting quotes sent out for Optimal since as far back as the AGM, I'm not sure how quickly these would materialise but there is significant interest out there.

I am looking forward to hearing more on the DR5 antibody work too, that seems to be going well.

At this ridiculous MCAP a buyout RNS isn't out of the question either!

The sky is really the limit here, nice detective work all.

65p roughly matches the highest MCAP ever achieved, however the business is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT NOW.

We have a very exciting time ahead of us and the journey is only just getting started.

Looking forward to the NCI contract. I think we will all be pleasantly suprised, especially when the board talk about Dr Ho like a dear friend.

It was just a few weeks ago I was being shown around the labs and speaking to the lab scientists. In many labs they told me the work they were carrying out was for the NCI and although my background is not scientific by nature I could tell the work was leading to positive scientific results. My opinion is that Fusion are becoming a critical part of the NCIs strategy with the Optimal platform.

The shareprice will hopefully reflect that value soon.

I seriously encourage shareholders to hold tight during the next few weeks, the lack of stock held by MMs could really screw them when Adrian opens his sleeves and drops the news.

At the AGM, Simon told me that December would be when everything kicks off. I am very excited for the commercial release of Optimal with the strong backing of the NCI, all the ducks have been lined up and this investment case looks impressively compelling.

At a presentation a few years ago Adrian said the Optimal project was one of the key reasons he came to Fusion, he also said it is one of the reasons he works for shares and buy shares. I suspect they are currently in a closed period but that he will be looking to purchase shares and receive his bonus in shares very soon.

Adrian held a top senior position at Abcam who specialise in antibodies. Abcam was sold to Danaher Corporation for $5.7 billion. Adrian has been here before and as a shareholder I’m very excited and relaxed in his leadership at this exciting inflection point.

Optimal has been in the pipeline for 7 years, 7 years of hard work on a world’s first platform is finally coming to an end.

It is time for Fusion to fuse into its next form.

The company is en route back to where it should be.

Now the US gov shutdown is over the NCI can get back to the negotiation table with Fusion and get the continuing use of Optimal deal signed and sealed.

I see Fusion has woken up after a few quiet weeks and the promotion should start to come now leading up to San Diego just a month away.

Very exciting inflection point.
