It is a big global warning warming the amount of methane going into the atmosphere is increasing from lakes in the northern hemisphere and from leaking pipes in franking oil ect this contribution is getting the planet hotter every year. A given amount of methane traps at least 25 times as much heat - unless you burn it first.
