Production is lower than expected?
"The Finniss deposit carries a higher technical risk due to its poddy, less continuous nature of the ore body."
"The strategy is based on the geology in the Finniss region – south of Darwin – where the lithium occurs in numerous small deposits, rather than a single large deposit."

Piedmont Lithium
I don't think they have permits yet for their flagship project. It's questionable if the permits will be granted.
"five of the seven members of the county’s board of commissioners were likely to block or delay the project because, among other things, Piedmont had not informed them of the environmental impact of the project."

Tricky, thanks for sharing the study from Tim Marais .
One part that stood out is that "A recent well‐field expansion programme was conducted in the river bed located in the southern portion of this cluster (Fig. 9), several water boreholes were drilled, of which one intersected the W17
pegmatite at depth. A vertical intersection of approximately 67m of pegmatite was drilled through the
pegmatite. This further confirms the economic potential of the W17 pegmatite."
The latest operation update RNS states
"Confirmatory drilling over the Uis Southern Cluster commenced in February 2023 with the aim of validating the historical drill holes and increasing the Mineral Resource Estimation classification for tin. The drilling campaign will also provide initial information on the lithium and tantalum mineralisation within these pegmatites. The programme is progressing steadily with additional contractors being mobilised to increase the rate of drilling. The results of this drilling will be released as soon as the associated assays are returned from the laboratory."

It's not from me Andrada latest presentation has B1C1 rebranded as Spodumene Hill and
NaiNais as Lithium Ridge

GLA
Uis (ML 134) has the minerals petalite (the lithium), cassiterite (the tin)
Lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide are chemicals that
lithium-bearing ores (petalite, spodumene, lepidolite, etc) are processed into
They don't exist in nature in economically notable quantities.
B1C1 (ML 129) has spodumene but we don't the specifics
Andrada is saying results will be out this month for 'Spodumene Hill' ;)
ladhani, for the Uis mine the JORC inferred resource, for only the V1/V2 pegmatites is 71 Mt @ 0.63% Li2O and ~0.13% Sn
however, Afritin is asserting there's significantly more...
the non-JORC compliant resource is 205 Mt @ 0.54% Li2O and ~0.13% Sn

I don't think any explorers listed on LSE are in production of lithium
wow, looks like someone is going long 4 million shares
£1 a share or bust
I can't see PT Timah being profitable at spot price of less than ~$30k/tonne
They've run out of tin on land and have to dredge the seafloor
Good point peking. Some kind of a streaming deal could be a good option I think. Spodumene prices are still sky high.
Hopefully there's a bump in the tin price by later this month.

I think this is absolutely world class. Latin Resources, trading on the ASX, put out news release the other day. Their best intersection was 21 m @ 1.26% Li2O. Compare it with Afritin's 131 m @ 0.74% Li2O and 0.168% Sn.
Price of spodumene concentrate is now just shy of $6,000 USD per tonne. [1] In my opinion, a very reasonable option for financing would be a streaming deal. A chemical company could prepay Afritin for future production of petalite concentrate. Something like $1600/tonne would be a good deal for shareholders I think.

Goes to show how undervalued Afritin is. Large resource, potential for rock-bottom AISC, located in a stabler jurisdiction than Zim, and is already in small-scale production. I do think the company could do a better job of promotion and investor relations. Folks simply do not know this is a lithium company in addition to the tin.
it's already a thing in Taiwan for scooters
Also, come to think of if I was conservative with using 40,000 tonnes/yr for Phase 1
RNS says 60,000 tonnes/yr
