A tad down this week well maybe enough to buy two 3 bed detatched houses BUT hey still MILES up over the past 12 months. Last buy was just before last quarters results thinking I could do a trade and they dropped it 25% from memory still got in at 3.40 and didnt sell. Yes £3.40 and we are moaning its dropped down to £6.30 three or four months later 🤣🤣🤣

China probably dumping som emetals back on the exchanges as per usual they are the ones fueling this surge generally in metals

Look at the after hour trades yesterday from the day before they are still trying to pull the wool over our eyes. As for the ASX what a waste of time and resources moving to this so called wonder exchange. Its nearly as bent as AIM

Hi Speedy I jumped into stocks and shares once mortgage free and have built up a sizeable chunk invested thanks to GGP and OMI plus a couple of others. Thought id blown it when it dropped from 38p 🤣. Lost about £2m on paper but thankfully back up and hence my when to get out and with how much. Missed a BTL opportunity 20 years ago when a snotty nosed estate agent tried to talk me into buying 5 properties with a 20k deposit on each instead of one, thought he was bonkers…..little did I know 😆

Chuff I must agree when I was 16 I worked for a large Building Society on a YTS scheme. The old school manager was leaving and called me into his office for a review and his parting words were OVER PAY OVER PAY OVER PAY. I said what you on about Tim and he said over pay your mortgage the minute you take it out as we hate that and lose a fortune as a lender. I did exactly that and have three properties paid for while saving an absolute fortune tens of thousands and secured my childrens future(but wont see a penny in rent 🤣🤣)

Something I have often pondered over. No debts or mortgage and one dependent (disabled son) who I will have for life, what would people need to retire comfortably on at the ripe old age of 57. Any thoughts or figures? Im extremely grateful to GGP for this opportunity to think in this way but I honestly havent a clue on lump sums etc. Any thoughts gladly welcomed and UP THE GGP :)
