George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
It's always easy to say in hindsight that it might have been better to accept losses rather than average down, or vice versa. If you have strong belief in a company and it's prospects then averaging down is the logical decision.
I am still of the opinion that Newcrest will have a much bigger say in the whole story yet.
Plenty of buys at 27p.
SP perking up nicely! Could be a very satisfactory end to a very satisfactory week! GLA and have a good weekend, lots to look forward to.
I believe that having BHP on board will only strengthen SolGold's plans, whatever the eventual strategy. This statement by SolGold won't change imo and the sky's the limit in Ecuador.
"SolGold is using its successful and cost efficient blueprint established at Alpala, and Cascabel generally,
to explore for additional world class projects across Ecuador. SolGold is the largest and most active
concessionaire in Ecuador having recognised as early as 2014 that the country hosted the same
untested prospectivity as the Northern Chilean section of the Andean Copper Belt, which accounts for
some 25% of the world’s copper resources.
The Company believes Alpala is just the beginning for SolGold in Ecuador. The Company wholly owns
four other subsidiaries active throughout the country that are now focussed on ten high priority gold
and copper resource targets, several of which the Company believes have the potential, subject to
resource definition and feasibility, to be developed in close succession or even on a more accelerated
basis from Alpala."
I wonder if anyone is going to admit to predicting 15p or less by the end of the year!
Yes, very good news and still page 1 of what will be an all time great story......the best is yet to come. Enjoy the forthcoming chapters fellow patient LTHs
Snap, MexPete, sorry!
"The entirety of the population of Retortillo, half the population of Villavieja de Yeltes and many more residents from other towns surrounding the project have signed a petition to show their support for Berkeley‘s Salamanca mine. The petition currently has nearly 1,500 signatures" - reported by bky today.
Sound logic, espresso. I've been thinking on similar lines myself.
The focus is alpala copper and gold, 5.2Mt copper, 12.3Moz gold together with high grade gold strategy to expedite Cascabel development.
He repeats himself regularly yet he has tried to criticise others for repeating themselves....such a hypocrit!!! Clearly, he's still too dumb to learn from his elementary mistakes and continues to make himself look foolish.
Mine too
I wouldn't normally respond but with reference to truth, I'll make an exception.
You are in no position to talk about writing the truth, Jimiley. Only today you suggested someone "repeating it 10 times a day" - at best a gross exaggeration, please give any actual examples of this happening to justify the statement. You also said "predicting sub 20p, not me saying it" - well, you have previously said it.
You have been called out and caught out before when making statements which you failed to justify. It's time you grew up and learned from your mistakes.
I'll say 46p
Nice summary in Mining Journal highlighting the impressive grades.....we're progressing very nicely! GL all true investors.

Fantastic update, "exceptional assay results from recent infill and extension drilling at Alpala Central reveal a far more robust high-grade core than previously modelled" has quite a ring to it. Next few months could get very exciting.
Satan, do try to be honest at least.......on numerous occasions you have deliberately been offending and provoking people.
Shouldn't be a concern, easyp, imo, I think that scenario would only be positive for the sp here. The weak pound currently is also accentuating the disparity, equating to £2.92. Definitely holding and adding myself.
2 weeks following the listing in Spain, I expected the sp to at least start to equalise but it is still on the increase in Spain, currently 3.27 euro. It would be nice to think that when it does it won't be all in one direction. I recall when Solgold listed in Toronto last year, there was an initial disparity but nowhere near this magnitude.
