I like l am sure most people that read this board am eagerly awaiting a updated RNS announcement hopefully with some positive news but not sure what to expect,
But would point out that we are approaching the time when the company issue statutory Total Voting announcements so would caution against getting to excited should you see a RNS announcement
Hoping for a positive announcement
Have a good New Year
I don’t think that he said anything that the presenter could not have said but coming from a Investment Manager adds a bit more credibility to the report. I would add that I agree with his opinion.
Please don’t read to much into what the investment manager at Readmayne Bentley said he is a nice chap but he is second in command in the York office and I very much doubt any one from Redmayne Bentley knows any more than a lot of the posters on this board. I am a long term holder of sxx and really believe in the project but have to admit I am eagerly awaiting good news like everyone else.
(Members) l have had no contact on this board whatsoever with you and you have had no opportunity to disagree with me. You are so sure that the company and the share price is doomed l disagree so my proposal is l will deposit £100 with a mutually trusted poster on this board and you would do likewise.
In the event that the share price is 0.14 pence or less on the 29th September you collect the £200.
In the event that the share price is 0.1410 pence or more the £200 on the 29th. September will be donated to a popular charity to be voted on.
If l am to believe everything you are predicting l have just made a bad investment decision, l have no problem making a charity donation and as you are so certain you are right you can look forward to collecting your reward.
I look forward to reading your response.
Chris Fraser owns approximately 123 ml Sirius shares these shares peaked at approximately 50p he is and we are currently looking at a share price of 16p numerous posters myself included are very unhappy at where we currently find our investment ? Does anyone think CF would have allowed his and our shares to fall to their current value if he had any other options. He was questioned at a agm about financing options his answer was the company would do what ever was necessary to complete the mine.
Provided the 500 ml bond placing is successfully accomplished by Sept/Oct the mine and associated infrastructure could/should become a reality. I don’t think CF is any happier than us about the means of achieving the end financing package he obviously has to put a brave face on things. I am firmly of the opinion that bad though it seems from a share valuation point of view there were very few if any other options available, provided the bond placing is successfully completed there is every chance we all will see in time a profit on our investment rather than a total loss.
Typo should be what’s going on
I played golf with a group this morning one of the group announced that a friend? had advised him to purchase some sxx shares which he did, fair comment for better or worse. I did not say anything but was astounded when he enquired does anyone know anything about this company. What are so called investors thinking about, the irony is that he has a excellent chance of making a profit. Time will tell, I didn’t want to spoil the round so with great difficulty kept my mouth shut.
Anyone entitled to purchase shares in the open offer and are considering taking the risk that the share price may fall to a lower level and as a result purchase on the open market needs to remember that the purchase will be subject to dealing changes and stamp duty. Taking up the open offer incurs no change, consequently the the lower price needs to be sufficient to cover those costs.
Sorry I should have added it can be read on the Yahoo Financial site
Another mf article this time a lot more balanced
Well said PAA It seems to me that in the unlikely event that we even know the names of relevant ministers ( They change so fast ) Nobody seems to be capable of getting on with the jobs they were elected to do. As well as making a complete mess of Brexit they seem to have given up on running this country.l am in my seventies and can not recall the parliamentary system ever being as polarised and ineffective. I despair.
Two years ago I wanted to attend the agm in York, all my shares are held in my clients account. My broker insisted that l would have to pay a £25-00 fee to provide the certificate enabling me to attend and vote. I refused and still attended the agm although l could not vote. The following day I instructed my broker to purchase for me 1sxx share to which I hold the share certificate, l now can attend and vote at the agm I hope on that occasion people were not hoping for a rns announcement please don’t read to much into the purchase of one share.
I have today been watching with interest the arrival of the TBM and look forward to hear of the progress it will be making. Over 180 years ago the Woodhouse 1 railway tunnel was constructed through the Pennies it took 1500 men 8 years to build the 3 mile tunnel. When l researched the details l was struck by the simula names of the two. The Sirius team and sub contractors are attempting to construct the massive first stage working 24/7 in 3-4 years, I am not trying to compare the two projects but what a difference 180 years make.
Well done so far to The Sirius team and all th sub contractors.
Is it just me or would others agree that the questions asked by the annalists could of (should of) been far more probing. I appreciate they have vested interests but had they done so a number of areas of concern or confusion could have been clarified and a lot of today’s posters would perhaps have a better understanding of the current and hoped for future situations
Come on annalists earn your money and help us get a clearer understanding.
I asked the question and appreciate there’s no definitive answers l have however enjoyed reading the various opinions and reasons for your reply’s. Thanks to you all .
I suspect the tone on this board will be somewhat more serious when we hopefully get the next RNS Thur./Fri. ? Let’s hope and trust that our BOD are able to enlighten us with a positive and acceptable update which will please some and l have no doubt disappointe others.
Onwards and upward or should l say. Forwards and downwards
Good Night

Hi LITC Is that figure the estimated number of PI in The Yorkshire area or the total if it’s the total in seems low to me or each PI must have very large holdings
ATB E
On second thoughts we will just book North Yorkshire
Cranleigh Thanks for your reply in conversation with friends I have guessed a figure of 80-100 thousand PI what you have said seems to be in line with my guess. If anywhere near correct should we ever get to celebrate at the £ party we had better book Wembley
I and I would assume many more private investors have been reading this board for some considerable time and generally speaking very much appreciate the time and effort that a number of frequent posters put into helping me have a much better understanding of this enormous project (technically-financially-additional bits of information-and generally a good cross section of opinions) All of which is intended to be helpful to us all. My question is can anyone estimate the number of private investors or a percentage of that hold shares in sxx at this time, l appreciate any estimates are difficult because of institutional/bond holders etc.
The company received a two minute spot on the national news (BBC news at 6)
