In relation to some of the back and forth between Poker and others, just remember this isnt a dick swinging competition...Poker has been just as rude on other chat boards and I tend now just to ignore.....better for the stress levels

the offer amount is not yet known, it is not for the market to decide the amount ahead of an announcement. once the figure is announced the market will jump to within 1-2 % of the offer

If I recall correctly it is greater than the highest price paid by the bidder in the past 12 months.....unlikely to be as high as 213, however, will be much more than current prices.

Am I correct in thinking the bid needs to be at least the maximum price paid by the bidder in the preceding 12 months....

Anyone know what price Sidara previously accumulated shares at....have to assume it is much higher than £1

Part of the problem as I see it is in many instanes the contracts can often last for years.....nobody was adequately prepared for spiralling costs from covid and then rampant inflation post covid......the lesson is probably to price in such a way as these type of events are allowed for in quotes

Todays drop can be attributed to the ex-dividend.....as is pretty common for FTSE, the drop is overexagerated compared to the dividend amount.....

I have been quietly averaging down here this past few months, I expect a recovery in time....

For those that bought in July 2024, that was their own stupid greed.....buying at the peak when a buyer was making approaches and the price had soared was their foolishness......

Simple logic of trading has not changed , buy low sell high still applies.....they have also had plenty of opportunity to bring their average down......
