"Now, in mid-May, that is changing, for Kelly and many others. Antibody testing is starting to become so available that it was even recently offered in a Cambridge bar, called Wit’s End". (That is, until the city closed it down on Tuesday, saying the testing violated the bar’s zoning.)
Dont think its ODX as oxford uni have different tests being researched. I think his referring to a lab based test.
In total, 25,000 people will take part in the pilot phase of the survey, with plans to extend it to up to around 300,000 over the next 12 months.
"Adults from around 1,000 households will also provide a blood sample taken by a trained nurse, phlebotomist or healthcare assistant. These tests will help determine what proportion of the population has developed antibodies to COVID-19. Participants will be asked to give further samples monthly for the next 12 months"
sorry meant that alot seem to be down today. not just here.
A Lot of covid stocks getting sold today it seems.
sorry but a lab based test.
I think this what people must understand that it's no ordinary test being produced. Theres hundreds of tests being marketed and sold some with specivity in the 80's.
Having found not one home antibody test close to the MHRA requirements around the world it shows how difficult a task this is.
Cheers merchantbanker.
Seems it will have a QR code for simpilicty.
This BB is getting quite s***. Ask relevant questions no answers but someone who ramps and deramps gets several responses. Tells the quality of investors on this BB.
Some are low 90's in both. Could this be issue as having to test hundreds of people as the MHRA guidelines, then failing and going back to the drawing board to redesign?
Can't find a decent enough rapid antibody test anywhere. Maybe this is causing the delay in design freeze. Seems hard to create.

sensitivity > 91%
Specificity > 99%
Show some of the tests that have been tested.

Well said chapsville86. Whats your understanding when comparing the mologic lab test to the one rns'd over at ORPH. Looks a good one that??
Siliv.
The roche lab test is far superior to the mologic test just look at the results for each.
Bit disappointed Bojo didnt let anything off today. But getting more increasingly anxious on there involvement with these tests. Hope he dont decide to stuff us last minute.
cheers Gazza
Just a thought on RTC. Seems like all others in consturtium are developing a product and omega only in manufacturing there product. In june there will be only 4 months left. What then? it seems abingdon are advertising for staff to manufacture there tests. So will omega be left with the short end of the straw here. Others websites contains some sort of information on the covid tests but nothing from Omega. NO deramp intended just asking questions on my investment.
Having researched many rapid antibody home tests, none is getting close to lab based tests all over the world even the yanks. Countries not relying on results. I can see this being a major issue at the moment and seems to be a hard one to crack. Lab based more effective but slow. Confused which ways this can go???
sorry paint a clear picture of what both are.
Immunoglobulin G (IgG):
This is the most common antibody. It's in blood and other body fluids, and protects against bacterial and viral infections. IgG can take time to form after an infection or immunization.
Immunoglobulin M (IgM):
Found mainly in blood and lymph fluid, this is the first antibody the body makes when it fights a new infection.
so this is presumably what the tests will show but any technicians clear this up.
