Completion of Balance Sheet Restructuring
Gulf Keystone is pleased to announce that the Scheme of Arrangement (the "Scheme") in connection with the Balance Sheet Restructuring Transaction (the "Restructuring") announced on 14 July 2016 became effective today. The expected settlement date for the Scheme is 14 October 2016
Restructuring
The Restructuring involves the implementation of a new capital structure to materially strengthen the Company's balance sheet with a significant debt reduction from over US$600 million to US$100 million through the conversion of over US$500 million of existing debt into equity of the Company by way of the Scheme.

I did warn everyone on here about the debt situation and the possibility of D4E but just received insults, don't forget that all important 11.23 % shares in the hands of short trade institutions also.
11.23% shares in the hands of short trade institution's, they have a strangle hold on petrofac and will not reduce until petrofac gain control of their financial obligations which does not appear to be happening, no news is bad news.
They have already finalised the next raise of cash for issue of new shares, unfortunately the price for those shares is a lot lower than the current share price, you will all find out when the next RNS is released in three or four weeks time when the share price will be between 0.5 and 0.6p
