George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Cannaccord increasing their position as they did last week is to me a sign something is afoot. I do find it odd that anyone would sell before YE results on the 26th but everyone’s personal position differs. I still think a sale is likely in the summer at around 65-70p, in fact I think preliminary discussions are already taking place as price/transaction activity in the last two weeks has been rather odd.
Absolutely games going on, MM’s taking positions for impending sale. It does not effect us long holders, but the manipulation that goes on at times to give the tree a shake is so annoying at times. Been having it with another of my positions over the last few days to a much larger extent.
Agree Saxondale, I find PW’s management style very refreshing. I don’t enjoy dips in SP like any investor, although I do take the opportunity to increase my holding when appropriate and will be doing so this morning if the SP stays where it is. I just find the reaction to the SP on hour by hour basis odd. I am enjoying being vested in ARB, intend to hodl as I believe the fundamentals and upcoming developments over the course of this year will see a very positive upside to the SP. I just feel if you can’t enjoy being invested in a stock, why don’t you just sell and move on to something that you can. Just my opinion.
I think it is now inevitable that a sale is likely in the next three/four months. Wonder what sort of premium we will see on our current SP? I don’t think 40% is actually unreasonable. Be interested to here others thoughts?
Fundamentals to any company are why one invests. ARB’s fundamentals have not changed over the last few days, in fact they have strengthened. Looking at the comments on this forum as well as Stocktwits last night, it’s incredulous. If you intend hodling until at least Dec, what is the issue?
Excellent news for ARB. Patience will be rewarded to Hodlers, I truly believe this. The building blocks are being put in place for a sustainable long term business unlike some of its more esteemed competitors who are currently riding high.
Albert, very measured post. I like many woke up and read the RNS and although the numbers are about where we expected, I was a little disappointed with reaction from the market, but with BTC down 2.41% and as you say the numbers are pretty much what was expected, why would there be a huge uplift in SP? The old adage of its a marathon not a sprint applies to ARB.
I always felt this was possible by the end of June as I have intimated in previous posts, but the SP activity over the last few days, this could be possible if GMR come in ahead of market expectations with their results on the 27th.
My understanding is that Pennsylvania is also through a license arrangement with GMR taking a % of operators revenues , so there should not be any hefty marketing spend from GMR’s perspective. I don’t believe GMR will ever return to a B2C model.
Over 1.6m shares traded this morning, it does feel like something is going on?
I am too DustyBin. Couldn’t get any through Fidelity, trying my trading account on HK now.
I think we will see an uplift of circa 20%-30% on expectations, maybe higher but I am trying to stay conservative!
I completely agree, I would love to keep going with GMR for 24 months, I just think that the board might be tempted at around 75p a share. Hopefully not, would love to see Nasdaq listing further down the road, also the growth from the US with State after State opening up would be fantastic. I hope the for sale sign does not go up, I really do!
A sale around 75p per share would get M Buckley circa £19.9m, which I assume will be too tempting for him. Still a great investment for us the shareholders, as I have said repeatedly, I would loved to have watched this grow over the next two years, just can’t see it now. In fact, the strange buys around close on Thursday probably mean something is already in the offing.
Is a sale inevitable with a Chairman in his 70’s and the largest shareholder by a considerable margin. Pushing on and taking this stock all the way would be fantastic, alas a sale 3rd quarter is probably nailed on unfortunately. Although even getting in now will likely see an uplift of 30p per share.
