Looks like a rather over exaggerated drop in SP (based on trades shown) means we'll close out the week below 50. Let's hope for a better week next week and perhaps even possible some news from the SEC...?

Nice to see some blue today. Beestt, I’m not sure I’d say it’s brilliant news personally. JT has been talking to offtakers for about the last two years, so that is nothing new, and the decision to proceed / FID is well overdue by now, having first been expected last year and then in Q1 after the redesign of the facility pushed out the timeframe. JT and co need to shake a leg if they are to be operational by middle of next year, which is what they have been promising.

Nice 128k buy gone through just now. Come on SP, don't be shy, move back up to 50p before close.

FinePrint, imo there is very little chance that we will be below £2 by the time we have both MKAR and Hypromag USA listed on the Nasdaq. As velcro says, add to that a seriously good (and expanded) set of Hypromag projects in UK and Germany + RoW developments and who knows where we get to.

Patience has been a virtue here, and another year should be enough to get us to that level and beyond. Note that given how long the SPAC process has taken for MKAR, I am not expecting a Hypromag USA listing until mid 2027.

Of course, but I also don't see Will and Alex being keen on a cheap takeover just when the company's SP is getting ready for lift off. MM's very sensitive this morning, with relatively small volumes moving the SP either way. Would be nice to see some sustained buying as it could lead to a big rise in this kind of pricing environment.

I'm hoping that you guys are wrong, as I don't want a buyout at this time, which imo would be unlikely to be more than double our current SP. I would take £2+ for my shares, as this would set me up for life, but am not interested in anything below this.

Decent bounce so far after we were taken down 4% on little volume. Would be great to confirm old 50p resistance as new support. If that happens we should start to see a decent move north over the next few days / weeks.

Also remember that the closing mid price on Friday was 52.5p. Friday’s 54p UT makes today’s reduction in SP look a lot worse than it is.

He’s a regular kowalski, mainly comes out on a down day with something negative. Each to their own though, no complaints from me. I would say however that the two RNS’s last week that were behind the price rise were hardly pumps, they reflect the progress that is being made by the company.

As for today’s SP action, overnight US strikes on Iran have added some doubt that a deal is imminent and markets are acting a little risk off as a result. We also broke through resistance on Friday with a c. 20% move over the last few trading days, so profit taking and a back test of resistance are not a complete surprise to me.

Daniel has been involved with / a friend of Mkango for years. I follow him on LinkedIn and X. Great to have him onboard in an official role with MKAR. He did post recently about how complicated and time consuming the SPAC process was for Energy Transition Metals. I’m sure he is providing us with lots of valuable insight.

Well they did in the end, posting a 54p UT, which will make the chart look better but likely mean we appear down on Tuesday morning when we reopen. Time for a run, followed by beer and BBQ in the sun. Have a great bank holiday weekend all.

Mid point at close is 52.5p, a strong close on the weekly chart after a great week with lots of positive news. From L2 it looks like they may and try something funny with the UT, but hopefully they don't.

As a reasonably large shareholder of both companies, I'd be delighted with that arrangement.

USAR and MP both off to a very strong start today. Hopefully a good sign for us.

Yeh saw that too dmz. I think this is the first sign (with probably many more to follow) of the US government realising that throwing money at unproven tech on the basis of big PR campaigns is not necessarily going to get them where they want to go. Very positive for us I think given how much further we are along than many of our competitors in the process. Working in the rare earth space is no joke, and I think many of our competitors will struggle to commercialise in the foreseeable future.

We've had some heavy selling this morning including 3 x 100k and 1 x 90k, but looks like some strong buying kicked in again just under 53p with 3 x 50k in the last few minutes. Will be interesting to see how we close out the week, and what impact the US will have this afternoon. All the rare earth companies over there had a great day yesterday, mainly for the reason velcro mentions below i.e. no easing of RE restrictions coming out of the China visit.

You know that if we were listed on the Nasdaq that we would be well above the £1 equivalent SP value in dollars. So it's all about the perspective of the market you are in. Over the next year two of our three main business units (Hypromag USA and MKAR) will be valued by that market rather than AIM, that is one of the reasons that Mkango is such an asymmetric investment right now.
