Apologies for slightly off-topic but I’m struggling to understand the lack of interest in Artemis amongst retail investors when it keeps putting out good info on prospects like this morning’s RNS.
I follow both GGP and ARV .

Really. 300,000 is less than £50k so is hardly going to move the market.
More importantly, the US is proving to be strong for the 4th day running.

Surely HSBC are just the holding account for individual investors.
Hargreaves Lansdown are a major shareholder but I’ll bet that’s mainly individual retail customers totalled up.

Brilliant news and fantastic for shareholders to retain nearly half of the profits in Disko rather than selling out 100% cheaply to Anglo American or RTZ.

It’s all about the election and the read-across from opposition to the uranium mine.

I think we have established it is not HSBC that is investing, just a collection o§f individual investors who buy shares through the bank which occasionally sends it above or below a notifiable threshold.

Is it HSBC selling or is it a totalling up of lots of private investors who buy and sell through HSBC ?
Often Hargreaves Lansdown appears as a large shareholder in companies but I assume that’s the summation of individual SIPP and share accounts.

PV, I’ll just assume it was a genuine mistake, confusing the old Erris company, rather than unfettered ramping but the SP has never reached 16.24.
This share opened up at the end of October around 7p and promptly fell back before rising significantly up to this week.
I am an enthusiast for this company but it doesn’t help potential investors if we over-egg it.

Where are you accessing the 52 week high and what was it ?

I think a lot of the sensible investors are discussing the company on ADVFN without rancour up to now.
I’m sure we all benefit from well argued thoughts but not necessarily from those posters who seem quick to anger.

Barclays investment of 2,500,000 is probably part of the placing at 5p.
It is misleading for Eris bulls to claim that Barclays have paid 11p unless they know it for a fact.
I suspect that most of the “punters’ on here ( of which I’m one) have absolutely no idea of the future SP or at least have no sensible way of calculating it. There’s a lot of understandable froth on here at the moment.
