Reminds me of an (allegedly} true story about a foreign dignitary who met the late queen mother at an embassy function and knew he knew her but wasn't sure where from. In an attempt to jog his memory without giving the game away, he asked her what her husband was doing these days. "Oh, you know, still king" she replied!

As transparent as someone who claims to "only read the board rarely" these days but undoubtedly checks in on a daily basis. Why the pretence? Because he thinks that somehow it makes him seem superior to the rest of the rest of the plebs on here (he has a history in this department). Doesn't have the brains to realise it actually has the opposite effect.

Afternoon all! As I'm sure everyone knows perfectly well, you do not get warnings from LSE for "confronting" other posters. Confrontations occur numerous times a day on every board. You get warnings and can be banned for repeated foul, abusive posts. If you do get banned, you can of course return to the board under a new identity and continue as before. Let's see if Y manages to restrain himself this time.
