It was a range. I think the max was $9. So we won’t get anymore for for the 1st 10 years. But you can see why they are keen to get things going.
Pretty similar with the phase 2 GSA, but a little more wiggle room based on Henry Hub
Dont get me wrong I am sure that Phase 1 will go ahead but as you say with a big delay.
Phase 2 is far more profitable per unit of gas. and it will be along 12 months after the first gas at phase 1. So the hypothetical question is it worth considering canning phase 1. Thats all the post are about. i think the americans call it spit balling....not sure why.
Hi i-man
pretty similar to my thoughts earlier but you put it some much better with a very plausible rationale.
The question would be if there is a delay to reposition the LNG plant where is Sound getting funding from in the interim?
So it is a difficult call
i think Omicron has put a bit of a spanner in the works. It is a big deal and GL was probably planning to be in country for the signatures. So maybe today, maybe next week.
Just looks a bit amateurish to keep getting extensions. this will be the third. obviously there is always the chance that GL might not see PHASE 1 as being that attractive anymore. Phase 2 is only going to take 6-12 months longer. and it is much more profitable for Sound per unit. Just a thought
