No I didn’t realise there were 2 stores...unfortunately we’d done our shopping and headed for the food court so didn’t discover the 2nd store (duh!!). I’ll make sure to visit it when we’re there again. For me the sooner they can close the smaller one the better, which should save on rental costs.

Visited the above store yesterday and was slightly disappointed, seemed small and cluttered and was selling a lot of obscure brands / fashions I can’t see them selling very easily. I’m a holder here but felt that store needs a revamp (liken it to Sports Direct) not well laid out at all. I did buy my son a tracksuit and daughter a pair of Vans for the cause.

Today's Sunday Times says deal imminent (weeks to finalise) and to be discussed at Trinity board meeting this week. In excess of �100m cash plus shares (10%) to Desmond. This doesn't appear a good deal for TNI given N&S reduced t/o �157m and profit of �13m? Thoughts anyone??

Spoke too soon, dramatic drop (buys 4/5 v 1) stop losses maybe looking for shares as cant be large free float. Anyway, can we finish above 98 or do we consolidate at this level.

Whats is there to stop them hoovering up as many shares as possible over the next three weeks before submitting their improved bid? How many could they acquire and how much could this potentially save them?

Hopefully if the industry confirm their restructuring plans to remove capacity this would help address the falling platinum price. If output is less than demand then in theory the price should rise whether to a level to enable AQP to reopen the closed mines remains to be seen.
