What do you mean by "the market": retail investors or The City? The former will be delighted by the news, at least those of us capable of looking beyond the end of a single trading day or week. The latter may be dismayed but aren't they the ones threatened by Bitcoin and DeFi in the first place?

The number of shares to be issued to achieve all that good stuff is minuscule, and they are at a price well in excess of the last placing price. This is very good!

Rewind three weeks and check the discussion on this forum when the SP was below 70p. Think about the hypothetical reaction to the very same RNS if it had landed at that time...

60m? 300m? That's peanuts to Apple. I think it's a Tesla top-up; or perhaps Apple treading water? When Apple activity kicks in for real, we'll see whale-sized purchases (>1000 BTC) going through...

Remember that the rise in the share price on announcement of the results from the remaining four SWAG holes may be as sudden and large as the drop on the previous announcement!

Seriously, something big is afoot in the Bitcoin world: the rumour is that Apple is buying in the background and planning to set up their own crypto exchange. If that's true, then Tesla's $1.5b (to date) investment will look measly in comparison.

I reckon they are starting to accumulate as we speak, and will time the bulk of their purchases to coincide with the traditional Chinese New Year sell-off. As a result, I expect the BTC to creep up for a week or two, with barely any dip next week, and then Boom!
