That's true but the risk of this falling through doesn't justify such low prices. Taking a 50/50 chance of this going through (very conservative, I know), the SP should be around 7p now.

This puts buyers off. The next RNS should sort it out. It's worth buying in now and sitting tight at least until the first drilling results from the Big One. When it starts moving up, there ride will be extremely fast!

It will. At the moment, the spread has been brought down to reflect the actual bid and ask, which should result in a few more trades. We're expecting an RNS on drilling at the Big One target next week.

But it won't be a mash?

Bickering is a good indicator that there's some interest in the company. :-)

I wonder whether DVRG will have to up the offer now that their SP is 30% below the original price. One DVRG share for seven MWG shares perhaps? Roll on Friday.

Some posters seem to suggest DVRG should not take over MWG. Why not?

MWG dropped to 2.675p and has just bounced back to 2.75p. I reckon manipulation going on here at DVRG: a trade for 10 shares has just gone through at 27p, with the following trade being for 10 shares, at 28p. MM's creating the market by shifting a few shares around at the right price!

So it seems. The bid dropped to 27p but there has been no trade below 28p today.

Give it three more minutes and we'll be at 29p.
