It makes little sense to be buying in just a few days before an expected announcement, as this strategy will be applied by lots of people and so you'll be paying more and then worrying about timing your exit just before the usual wave of sells when the RNS arrives. It's better to get in early and take advantage of a more protracted rise.

Joking aside, I'd discount the non-executive positions, as some businessmen tend to be independent directors of a large number of companies, and that takes just a few hours of their time once a month or even once a quarter. That leaves four companies: Galileo, Bezant, Xtract and Tiger. I've looked at these, plus Jubilee, and couldn't see anything fundamentally wrong within the most recent period (last two years). Not even with Xtract. Was your bad experience a few years ago, or did you get caught on the early September spike there?

Thanks for that. Is he a David Lenigas type of person or just a very energetic businessman who gets involved in lots of projects?

Personally, I have never invested in a Colin Bird company but I've had a look at the charts (for the last two years) of some of the companies you mention and can't find anything wrong there. BZT has had a very nice and steadily rising trend since mid-April, with a crazy acceleration within the past week that has just corrected itself. I think there's scope for a steady rise towards a penny now.

Have you got any specific worries about BZT or is it just that you don't trust the man, in a similar way as I don't trust Lenigas (despite the fact that he was behind my first ever multi-bagger REM)? If it's the former, could you please give us some details?

I don't think it will drop tomorrow. There has been too much consolidation at 1.2p for the past two weeks. It's ready to attack the first resistance at 1.7p.

Do we know where that number of warrants comes from? I could find only 21.75m in the RNS from 29th June.
No warrants outstanding, or do we expect a few more to come?
