Broker tipped as buy, 11.15p divi coming 29th april ex div day. Maybe worth putting on your radar. Brand alone is very well known, posted a profit still last years accounts, although i expect 2009 will prove tougher, it is a bit of a luxury product!

Gonna be buying soon long term. They been buying shares back at an alarming rate and they fall fall fall. Fair enough the comment about demand, but in the long run, demand will return. Anyone else in the same frame of mind? Certainly atm there doesnt seem to be a bottom tho.

Exactly what this sort of **** means for the shareholder? I presume its bad. Kinda glad i didnt buy these now, although ive spent the last months etc kicking myself because they were on my watch list at the beginning of last year and i nearly bought. (Thought i had missed out big time) Sorry if it is bad and ppl have lost out, not meaning to rub it in so to speak...

What your saying maybe right, having said that i or we were talking long term, not trading... and you've realistically been able to do that 3 times in the last 12 months, the gains your talking about i mean. You hold a share for 5-10 years in a company your sure will do well as it kinda has, you expect a result... they are not as good as you say, thats why you trade them and dont hold long term. None the less, im glad you like Costain but my points still stand. Good company potentially, just never relates in the SP and they have diluted my shares so badly that i have about 20% of what i did have and i bought at 20 odd pence. Maybe they will do better now and reward shareholders more in the future, dont mean to bring the company down, just being honest, ive made nowt, GL regardless.

I hope not, imo never should have been where it was months ago. Its been knocked for no real reason, hasnt it? Been given some of the biggest and best contracts around this year, just check Contract Journal and the likes of other magazines which i get copies of posted to me monthly or whatever. (Whoever added me to that list, thank you! hehe)

Think the last dilution was a couple of years ago, like you say dividends are modest, and that imo is put quite lightly. Maybe ok for sector. I could find the details of dilution if u wanted, but its filed away atm :) EPS not sure, couldnt say, havent researched this at all of late. Just have a real hate for this company, even tho i see/hear/read good things, ive never gained from it. Ofc GL to anyone who is looking at this. Truely hope you make something.

Nearly 5 years i expect, used to hold my shares in certificate form. Not made any money, had my holding diluted. Generally always seemed to be doing well, but that isnt really reflected in SP. Im told you will never make money from them, as everything is so manipulated and they do not run things to keep shareholders happy. Just hear say, but seems true. Negative i know and im sorry, mostly just unhelpful whining too, probably mostly rubbish too. But i have held for a long time and have had no real return.

Didnt expect it tho! I did infact note the possible offer being proposed and forgot i had set a sell order, not thinking it would just rocket. Anyway making a long story short, just checked my dealing account and the bugger hit my sell limit of 83.5p or so. Good luck if your holding still Leo, and i hope they come in with a nice big offer... In the article i read it suggested that an offer is being proposed because the other company noted the drop in the SP recently, r they being silly and forgetting that they just paid a special dividend of like 120p? Pretty clear reasons for the reduction in SP. Bah nvm anyway, im unfortunately out from my own stupidity ;P Gd Luck :)

Should have bought on my bday (19 march) for 65p, nice tidy 100% profit and with targets of 170p. Also some good news out the other day.
