Who knows when the announcement will happen or the finer details. To me I just like that Vodafone have this mentality. They have this kind of vision. And they aren’t going to be a stuck in their ways traditional company going obsolete with the times.
Hey ProfessorBananas, it means Vodafone has noted previously that it will create a whole new company for its Internet of Things operations. Which is a very key technology that can be a big source of growth. It’ll be a stakeholder of the newly formed company. There are predictions that this could be announced in April 2024.
I have been reading and listening to Vodafone’s people for a while now. And I am super excited for the transition that Vodafone is going through. Everyone is focused on the merger and the sell offs…. But nobody is talking about the incredible services they are providing for B2B customers, and their ramp up of in-house software engineers for their IoT, OpenRAN 5G, they are decentralising telecoms and creating a whole new era for the industry. As well as working with generative AI, Quantum computing, cloud computing technologies, etc I am happy that they are tackling the modern era head on and it’s only a matter of time before it all starts to pay off for Vodafone Group.
Big 46million buy and a couple 3million buys. Vodafone will spin out its Internet of Things (IoT) business later this year and also making a lot of tech advances with cloud computing and its OpenRAN network, and its Network as a Service / Telco As A Service ideas.
Shareholders need to press Vodafone in pursuing this path of becoming a tech telco company. They are already transitioning by hiring a tonne of new in house software engineers to build their own products in house.
I’m bullish on the future of Vodafone. It is making changes that are laying the groundwork for a company that embraces technology and advancement. That is always a win for any business strategy. Investment in R&D is always key.
I can’t tell if you guys are all day traders or the worst investors ever.
The amount of whining and horror is unbelievable. In my opinion. Sit tight and enjoy the ride! The fundamentals of DEC all check out. Sure the share price is going up n down, mostly down…. But that’s an opportunity to buy more. For when the stupid people have all sold, the share price can rise and you’ll be in the blue higher than ever before.
Ofcourse, the higher you bought in the more painful the wait… so I sympathise. But all you have to ask yourself is…. Is this company going bankrupt? Is this company about to fail? No? Then enjoy and buy the dip.
Yes? Then cut your losses if you truly believe the company is going to zero. If it’s not going to zero then you’ll eventually be in the blue and in the end, we invest for a dividend. When that dividend is ripe… as in enough to pay a living wage according to your lifestyle you can divert it all to your bank and just enjoy your life.
Regards,
I hope you’re all Vodafone customers. All this complaining and talking of the share price…. If you’re sending money to the other telco providers then you’re working against your bets. 😂🫶🏼
You know the large majority of you posters need to take a back seat. Complain complain complain. Are you day traders or investors? Things take time. The company will grow, it needs the support of the people, but overall the executives at DEC do a very good job in managing the businesses intricate finances.
DEC is seriously undervalued, its operations are very helpful and needed as well. This isn’t a high risk stock. This is a very good company that has some bad press due to a bunch of whinging morons and sheep.
I am happy the prices have come down… it’s given me the opportunity to buy at such undervalued prices that when this goes up to what it should be… i will be in a very very good position in life.
Hey all, I am invested in DEC…. I was wondering if anybody knows who DEC actually sells their produce to? For example, 1.) the upcoming blue hydrogen economy in the USA and Europe that utilise natural gas to create hydrogen. 2.) Natural Gas power plants. 3.) Domestic cooking and heating. 4.) production of other materials such as plastics. 5.) Transportation. 6.) fuel for methane rockets like SpaceX Starship.
Does SpaceX buy their fuel from DEC? Do blue hydrogen producers buy their NG from DEC? Do NG power plants buy their NG from DEC?
I’m trying to gauge how much of the market or which significant clients DEC has. It would be cool to know if SpaceX buys their NG from DEC for example. It would also be very cool to know if DEC plans to prepare for international governments ramping up support for a hydrogen economy and will take part through blue hydrogen facilities.
Thank you,
