I am an engineer ofcourse having worked with all the big multinationals…. And I know they are all implementing this tech. As well as automated laser welding lines etc.

And I would HOPE a company suffering like H&W are orienting themselves for success and staying ahead of the game. H&W is a very small company now, in that sense it can make changes and implement new procedures and visions fast whereby these other big builders would take decades. What the likes of BMT and BAE do in a decade, H&W needs to implement faster and with higher focus on return on investment!

I’m still kinda new to being an investor, but is it possible for us ordinary shareholders to get the company to do things? I’m thinking I hope H&W are keeping up with innovation. They are thinking ahead into the future about growth markets and also how technology will affect shipbuilding. I hope that they’ll be utilising virtual environments / Augmented Reality headsets, I hope that they’ll be utilising AI and other software to stay competitive. I hope they are on top of Best Available Practice (BATs) for engineering processes and design. I hope they are thinking like this. If not I sure as hell want to scream it in their faces. Because that’s how we will revive this company and win contracts. And so I’m wondering can we the shareholders get this message across to them?

I’m Voting Reform UK too. I think at the very least if people are delusional enough to think Labour has their best interests in mind….. they should be at least intelligent enough to realise that Labour needs an opposition that will fight for the working people of Britain, and that’s Reform UK! We want income tax cuts, we need to reshape the crappy NHS, we need drastic measures that Labour haven’t uttered a word of because they appeal to non-thinking bimbos who think climate change is the most important issue in this election 🥴🥴🥴

I am very in favour of a rival of H&W. The UK has a rich history of shipbuilding and H&W is integral to that as well as owning some great sites for the future of ship building. What do we think, will the next government in charge of the UK see H&W return to share price levels of £5 to £10 per share again?

The likes of BAE systems seriously needs some competition that’s for sure. Its huge grasp of the market gives the UK taxpayer little choice when BAE overruns its projects n costs for decades.

Make H&W great again and give BAE some real competition!

Mechanical engineers do all the work, everything else is just a specialism but all very interchangeable across industries. I could work for McLaren, just as much as I could work for National Rail, or NASA, or any other engineering company. Makes no difference to me, very easy to get into them all.

I am not being arrogant, I was just saying reform uk coz I want them to lower income taxes a lot haha. And then splattered was being rude and wanted to get personal, so just messing around with the sheep that’s all.

I don’t care about any political parties, I don’t care what they call themselves or who they are friends with, I just care about my own interests and making my own money.

I don’t fix boilers, I’m not some technician. But nice try, you will never be on my level son.

Thanks for all wishing I never get ill. But I have to say…. If I was ever ill I would call private healthcare services 😂 and not be left to die with public NHS. My uncle was also left to die, had cancer, and NHS were so lazy and useless they would have left him to die had we not stepped up and paid to get him seen private. That’s an extremely common experience.

The only thing the NHS is good for is getting prescribed anti biotics non stop 😂

Welfare state should be shutdown, and the NHS isn’t fit for purpose, that’s the bottom line.

Most people in the Uk have private healthcare with their jobs anyway, and there are private ambulance services provided by the NHSs private services that are much better. My mother has been waiting years just to get treatment for arthritis. So respectfully, I hope the NHS crashes and burns, and we get something much better. If I’m going to have to spend a tonne of money anyway because we do through our extortionate taxes.

About £6600 of my taxes goes towards the NHS….. bloody useless and a waste of money. That’s more expensive than switzerlands private healthcare system…. And Switzerland has the best healthcare in Europe. Make that make sense!

Welfare state is a huge problem in this country it’s a disgrace. And the NHS? Awful. The pain involved getting appointments. Want a scan? Wait till next year, oh look we found an issue with you, wait till next year and we might treat it. NHS is a disgrace. I’d rather a health care system like Norway or Switzerland would be much much better. The UK NHS is ranked as low as 16th place in Europe 😂😂😂 I can’t believe those are your benefits of Labour, please you’re making it worse!! 😂😂💫

Hey if we assume all political parties are complete liars, why don’t we pick a different liar for once. If Labour comes in, we know exactly what’s going to happen…. Nothing…. Because they have been in power or the leader of the opposition the entire time… so nothing is going to change. Labour n tories are the exact same party and they agree on everything, they just pretend to fight over specific numbers.

I am not right wing or left wing, I don’t care about political weird groupings. Although from what I’ve read about left or right wing, it sounds like left wing means you’re weak and hate yourself, and right wing means you’re for strong stable families and sticking up for yourself.

I am actually an energy engineer. Climate change protestors are extremely over blown. Climate change is a natural part of life, I would say the biggest effect we are having is stunting species from going through survival of the fittest so only the best can survive and pass on their DNA. Humanity unfortunately supports the weakest people… leading to all these problems we are having with the overpopulation absolute numskulls.

Fact is reform uk support lithium mining directly. They also support other industries like fossil fuels which are still very much important for many things. They also support nuclear reactors! Which is and will be our main source of energy, and it’s clean too. So you complaining about what they’ve said on fossil fuels is just strange since conservatives and Labour always say the dumbest things yet they always get voted in…. Also plans to scrap petrol car production isn’t until 2035, it’s been delayed again, they’ll also likely delay it again beyond 2040, they just give a random date to shut the public up but no they can’t mandate that yet as electric cars aren’t ready for mass scale.

So hope, make it make sense, what the hell are you talking about 😂

Lithium mining is for a large range of uses not just electric cars. How dumb can one be? 😂😂 I’m glad they’ll support all industries, you’re making the case for reform uk! Can’t just shut down fossil fuels, there’s a million uses for it beyond fuelling cars you know, like making tonnes of different essential products and materials.
