I agree there is more to this deal than is being let out of the bag.

Daewoong have DWP710 (mesenchymal stem cell) for treating the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
They announced on 6th July 2020 they where submitting for phase 1 trial.
29th July they sign a collaboration and license agreement with Avacta and AffyXell Therapeutics, the joint venture established in South Korea by the two companies, to develop stem cell treatments incorporating Avacta’s neutralising Affimer therapy for the treatment of seriously ill patients with COVID-19.

I can’t find any information if affimers are involved or not in the DWP710 trial.
Mainly because Affyxell is a private company and they don’t have to disclose anything until end of trials.

But the trial did not start until 14th November 2020 and finished 14th Jan 2021
and is about to start Phase 2 and could be on the market this year.

If Avacta’s affimers are involved Daewoong will not want any of their competitors knowing the power of affimers until after this trial.

On another trial with Daewoong DWRX2003 they have a collaboration with Tufts Medical Center for Phase 2 Clinical Trial with Niclosamide which looks very promising.

Again Avacta has a partnership with Tufts for our lead cancer target AVA6000
