If there is an MM with a tame seller on the hook, then they just dip into that pot. We’ll see if TPEP continue to close their short position, but they were only needing to buy around 4m to close, which I don’t think would cover all that’s been going on.
On the UK market there's FDEV which is a solid company with good growth prospects. Had a spike last year due to hype around a game tie in with Jurassic World Evolution, then an inevitable sell off. The advfn board is a bit more active for that though than lse, there is the resident troll to watch out for though of course.
I'm pretty pleased with the recovery here the past few months, should be well set up for the coming years now.
What is also good to take away from it is that the spike and subsequent cool off of V prices has made hardly any different to company revenue and profits. As they didn’t sell much back during the V price spike, due to the strikes, the bottom line has hardly changed at all. With production the best its ever been and the Vanchem acquisition looming, its all set to be a very good end to the year!
Thought I would share some info regarding the MMs current net position with BMN shares. They have been in accumulations mode since around August 14th, and managed to bag a good load yesterday of 1.66m. They have acquired 3.23m at current levels.
This usually means that they are building a long position and preparing for another move upward to sell those shares on higher.
Are you really asking if all the risks that are inherent in transportation of goods will have any impact upon BMN? Bearing in mind that all businesses, of practically any kind, require the transport of goods. Scraping the bottom of the barrel a little here, no?
If you can provide one instance where transportation has resulted in contamination of electrolyte, then we can discuss it as a potential issue. If not, then you are grabbing at things from the sky. In that case, why not ask about the risk of vehicle theft when transporting it? Both are as likely as the other, as there are no examples of either.
Well it does. The container had to be left uncovered as their was an emergency evacuation of the site during the process of filling the tank, which was due to a fire alarm. I believe it was condensation that dripped into the tank, thus contaminating it.
There was no issue, and has not ever been an issue as far as I'm aware, with the transportation of the electrolyte. The only reason contamination happened is that the tank had to be abandoned half way through the process whilst still open. This would not be a common occurrence.
Hello Banjowest, interesting that you managed to grab such a large portion of shares! Shame you had to arrive on the board under such circumstances with what is turning out to be something like a drunkard hurling cans at people.
GKB47, the BSA has already brought previous market manipulation to the attention of the FCA. They have since done nothing with this information as far as we are aware. Maybe they just take it and laugh, as do the city boys who play with our money on aim.
It’s hard to know where to place what’s going on in the bigger picture at the moment. Yesterday’s actions by the MM’s was very bizarre, and given the SP action here over the past few months that is saying something! Circa 3m sold into the market, we have to assume they are sells due to the price and the Rhino that sat on the SP most of the day, but even that isn’t certain due to a constantly fluctuating spread where buys were reported as sells and vice versa.
What Bassguy is saying has some merit, whichever MM is selling shares on behalf of a client, the fact that they have accelerated the selling implies that they are near the end and wish to get it over with. Whichever MM is doing the selling would want to get the lowest price possible for those shares, as they can then sell them on higher at a later date. They wouldnt dump a size of shares of that amount if they weren’t very sure that the bottom had been reached. Otherwise they have just created a big hole for themselves. This indicates that, if these shares have come from a tame seller pot, the pot is drawing to and end and that the bottom has been reached.
Alongside this we saw an attempted flash short yesterday, as they looked to take advantage of the SP not budging upward. Numerous 10.01k sells and 30k and 50k sells were all dumped within minutes of each other. It hasn’t done any lasting damage however as the MM’s have since allowed the SP to recover a tad.
What is the most strange about all this is that the MM’s were not letting PI’s buy in any large amount throughout the day, despite having those large sell orders at hand. This could be because there is a large buyer in the back ground, or it could be that they simply don’t wish to sell those shares to us at these prices but up nearer 30p where they can make a bigger profit. My money is on the latter.
Talking of PR, I dont suppose you watched the FY presentation yesterday? You cant blame Braben for market reactions. All he can do is develop the company, which he is doing fantastically well. What do you expect him to say to the market? This the the games sector not mining or pharmacueticals. They cant give the same kind of info and insights as so much is about timing/marketing/reveals. Unless you'd like an RNS every time they announce a new animal for Planet Zoo there isnt much to say. They getting on with things and making millions, as a good company should.
I don’t think they will leave 2020 without a game release. I believe they are wanting to now at least maintain one game a year. The major IP is scheduled for a 2021 release, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see another game in the mean while. And I fully expect to!
