More market madness on top of yesterday where CCL was up 13%, yet on the NYSE is was up only 4.5% .
I think I'll buy sub £8.50, assumoing I get the chance!

Deja vu ? Sp not behaving normally IMHO.

I'm surprised the sp is only down 1%, after yesterdays 13% rise. I was expecting around 6% drop.
However the Non farms payroll figure which was out in the USA 45 mis ago is not a good sign for inflation in the USA.
185K was expected but it came in way over that at 517K indicating the USA economy is proving resiliant making it more likely interest rates will go up more and for longer in the USA. Not good news for the likes of CCL.
The NYSE futures show CCL down 1.5%, here CCL are down 1.1%.
Likely to go lower IMHO. I agree with fordy88 3% dip or more is likely. Maybe is will be the 6% or so after all.

Clearly we have a difference of opinion as to (I presume) what efffect the FED's 0.25% interest rate increase will have as oposed to the possible 0.5% increase.
I believe ours and the NYSE CCL shares are not linked, so they both float independently. Would it not be tempting to sell some UK CCL shares and buy some NYSE ones !???? Anyone comment on this??
To hold after todays 13.7% rise, the odd fact that the NYSE listed ones only went up 4.6% (about one third of the ones listed in London), and the fact that the last time these went up this crazy they suddenly did a massive money raise knocking about £1.00 of the sp you will need some nerve!! If you have the guts, good luck!!! I'm out for now with a decent profit.

Hmm. So why is CCL up 12.9% here, but only up 4.8% on the NYSE?
? Nearly 3x more here than in the USA???
