RE: 1. Non invasive way to monitor cancer reaction to treatment.21 Jul 2023 15:59
2. The whole ***LIVE*** cancerous cells can be tested to see how they are reacting to any treatment (obtained from a normal blood sample).
3. Circulating tumour cells. "Their real value lies in the amount of critical information they hold, particularly the information on RNA and protein expression that drive tumour growth, therapeutic sensitivity, forecast resistance mechanisms, and predicted aggression.". Since you have the whole live cancerous cell to test there is nothing missing that you can't test, unlike other methods. It is ALL THERE.
It's actually annoying no large Pharma has made a bid.................... YET!!
Having a live cancerous cell to test is in it's infancy. Who knows what future progress will be made. What if it becomes a ***must have*** to have a cancerous cell to test to find out X??? No one can say.... yet!
All IMHO.
