In my opinion posting things like "they are going to have a rights issue" with no official news or link to some sort of confirmation of same is outrageous (not you I hasten to add). I have seen many posts like that on this site. People should not be allowed to post things like that. It's obvious. LSE should ban people who post such things IMHO. Not just remove their posts.

What about made up lies causing people to lose money?

If I posted something I stated was true (that was a lie) and you sold because of it, then the sp went up and you lost money you could sue me for the money lost. The case being you would not have sold if it were not for my post that you read on here that was untrue. A screen shot would be good...... LSE could be forced to reveal the posters details (court order). Then you sue them.

This is basic stuff. Extremely rare but it has happened.

There are multiple "posters" appearing on this board who have only ever posted less than say 50 times.

Highly suspicious. Many have only joined in the last few days. Most clearly have short positions with PFC.

Can't say any more than that at the moment.
