TwoGood2Die.
Yet 🥕 nobody is buying it!

Who knows. It was only launched on 9th November!
Sounds to me like a "must have" for Companies doing immunotherapy research.
- How else can they prove (or not) the fantastic results they sometimes get are from people who have high levels of PD-L1 on the surface of their cancer cells?
===========================
What I understand of the PD-L1 test assay's use for Companies doing cancer research is the following:-
It is strongly suspected that patients who respond well to immunotherapy have high levels of the protein PD-L1 on the surface of their cancer cells (varies for some reason). This is easy to find on the WWW. Search for cancer PD-L1. If this is correct, and CAN BE PROVEN during a trial it would be extremely useful not least for the future in selecting the most suitable patients for immunotherapy. Clearly some patients have the treatment and it simply does not work stopping them from having other treatment. This could be costing lives. Also the treatment is very, very expensive. In time one can imagine the PD-L1 test being used to find the most suitable patients for treatment thus saving lives and money.
In immunotherapy trials SO FAR it has only been possible to test the original tumour's level of PD-L1. The problem has been the original test was done when the tumour was removed so it can't be tested later. Nothing to test. That being months or even years previously and unfortunately a cancer's PD-L1 levels can change over time. Unreliable results. Not accurate enough.
To date it has not been possible to prove with a high enough degree of accuracy that high levels of PD-L1 do mean the immunotherapy will work very well. It is strongly suspected but not enough proof exists for it to be accepted.
The answer is using Angles parsortix machine to collect a circulating tumor cell and use the PD-L1 test assay to test for the PD-L1 level. This can be done any time as long as a standard blood sample can be taken from the patient.
So any Company in the World doing a cancer trial can now find out their patients cancer's PD-L1 level immeditaly before, during and after treatment BY PAYING ANGLE for their services.
So, is this "cornering the market"??
All IMHO.
