CEO "Looking forward, we have strong momentum and remain on track to return to cash dividends as previously guided."
Where can I find the text of " as previously guided."
Any poster has a written statement of this previous guidance, please?
to be honest I can't see the sp going below 5... It might have an intraday sharp fall to below 5 but won't last more than a couple of minutes and you got to be pretty quick to take advantage of it and I don't think we pi would be able to.... It should now steadily if slowly to trend higher
Yup, the only and VERY ONLY rule YOU CAN TRUST on aim, is to avoid aim altogether... all the rest is rubbish, conning and frauding the small investor
JGFFourie.... Yes, your points are very valid... However HMSO showed serious lack of creativity in tackling the dividend. They could have had a scrip, a reduced dividend, or even delayed the dividend etc etc - HMSO directorship seems very able to run a company - I am not sure of their ability to handle the market though... For a listed company no matter how good your are as a director at running a company, it can count very little if do not show ability to handle the market...
Zelensky has got NATO fully committed not to let Russia win. He knows only too well that never in a million years Ukraine will ever have again a chance like that against Russia. It's like a very poor man winning the toppest ever prize in a lottery... My guess is Xi will propose all Russia invaded territory be declared demilitarized/neutral areas under the oversight of ONU or something similar peacekeeping arragement... For a host of reasons both good and bad, Xi is the only one who can get a result anyway. I am sure Xi is genuine about it. He knows that if he succeeds to broker peace his personal world influence and China' will get an enormous upgrade.
IMO it's mostly due to how HMSO deals with the dividend... From the point of view of the sp, it was a blatant mistake not to give any final div which provoked a considerable sp fall. there should have been some sort of final dividend paid out... From the point of view of company management it was maybe a good thing to prioritise future developments. IMO i think they really missed to give enough attention the fact that for Reits the dividend is a hugely important attraction. I think they could have navigated it better by giving a reduced final dividend, as long as there was a dividend paid out. So for the future HMSO better pay extreme attention on how they manage dividends, and if they do it properly (whatever and however that is) will no doubt get back to glory days
if these news seem to be positive why the sp is down then?
Tricky... assuming is true HMSO breached loans convenants, surely then HMSO must have found financially more convenient breaching the convenants rather than absolving them... You got to have the full insider insight of this event which none of us has.
Reppyrr...
Yes, that's what I believed too... If there was a cash cash divi now (I mean the company had produced more money for it) we would have been now at around 37... Obviously no holders like their share going down... If you are a trader you might play with that, if long term the company seems to be on a good footing... As you say then a lot will depend on how the sector reacts to external pressures. I guess now it will depend how those on the fence waiting for good entry opportunities will react
