I've heard about svs securities going into administration.
I trade on the svs platform
I am very worried about my investments
They are mostly in a share dealing isa with some in an advisory isa
Does that make svs the nominee holder so when the administrator come to pay off their debts, then they can target those shares held in my account?
Can anyone help clarify the risk to me?

Anyone else noticed this free access (MoneyAm) to trade prices has gone now? I'm missing access to that. Any other free alternatives out there or do I need to stump up and subscribe. Any advice appreciated.

So I originally bought in at 1.171 and have continued to 'average down' with my last £500 at 0.385
Currently £3877 down :(
I hadn't considered buying again but the price has dropped so much since my last purchase and seeing others buying I started looking at the sums again. Can't remember if it was this board or not but I read similar thought processes this week somewhere...
If I purchase £500 today I would need a price of 0.4 to recover my losses
£1000 today and I would only need 0.3
"One decent RNS could do it" but it does start to sound like a gambler's mantra.
I'm going to sleep on it.... for a few days/weeks. The worst that can happen is it keeps dropping...but that provides a better opportunity to "average down"....At this stage I'd just like it to rise....here's hoping.

thanks gboorman for confirming. I'm still learning. Will the guys who are selling today still receive that 8p come June or should they be waiting for the Record Date for that? chz

Can anyone confirm it is now too late to secure the 8p divi ? Was yesterday the deadline ?
