I think you will find that PRE will need a plant and a mine, not to mention the know-how, to stand a chance against the Chinese. Presently, they have nothing. A few holes in the ground, photos of sites without any sign of actual work having been started, let alone near completion. I don't see PRE being able to rival the Chinese anytime soon.

You hit the nail on the head SP. If you was sitting in Whitehall and PA came to you, cap in hand, looking for funding. Surely the Whitehall folks would carry out a thorough DD, look at the management track record of achievements, the current state of the company etc before handing over taxpayers money. Clearly, PA did not pass their sniff test. Did we read of PRE cost cutting measures, BOD taking pay cuts to conserve cash? No. I applaud the Government for not wasting taxpayers money on a company which has a going concern hammer hanging over it.

Tony, I think by now you know that I respect you as a poster. I have to disagree with you here. It is down to PA and the BOD. They take fat salaries to manage this company, look after shareholders value by making the right decisions that will allow the business objectives to be met. Nowt to do with our Government. They have enough problems dealing with inflation, pay, cost of living and energy bills. Its the BOD'S job to get things done. Look at MP, they are not in PRE's current predicament are they? PA is all talk Nd no trousers.

Surely as an investor you would be concerned whether the company will survive if his latest hail Mary funding attempt fails? I recall posting that he should have been selling concentrate to bringing in cash while he pursue the bigger objectives. You jumped all over me. Look where PRE is now, don't even have a pot to pee in.

MP of course. They are making excellent progress with establishing more of the value chain in the US. What value has PA brought to the UK aside from the fees which he paid when he listed the company in London?

-Funding.
-Government grant.
-Building and commissioning UK & Angolan plants.
So far, just empty words with no tangible outcomes. Bah!!
