It it ludicrous to kill the golden goose in the UK. The industry has delivered wealth opportunities and continue doing so.

Politicians like to be doing something because they can but true leadership is taking the pragmatic approach and getting the right mixture.

We will need to rely on oil and gas for decades and the answer is not heat pumps.
