If you want WG then you need to be credible.

So the share price might jump on news to £1.20 but this is not the end of the bidding story.

What an opportunity in wood group - you could buy into a company share price that literally could rise 100-500%.

Not many other opportunities like Wood Group.

Going straight to a deal is premature.

If Sidara strikes a deal then this might only be are a few bids as surely some posturing and negotiations will happen as well as other suitors coming forward.

Hoping Monday brings in the first of many bids.

There could be a bidding war pushing this up - an exclusivity deal would only happen if the bid from Sidara is realistic and stands a chance of being both credible and acceptable to all shareholders.

The premium over fundamentals is unknown and could take this well north of £1.70.

- more than one suitor involved

- strategy of suitor , is WG wanted at any cost!

- what the main shareholder want.

- whether cash offer or merger.

The final price in my calc/view will be somewhere in the range £1.5 -£4 per share. DYOH IMO

How much proof does the market need

Surely the sp must rise today.

Take heart in the knowledge that major institutions and banks have piled in, not the opposite.

Knowing the history of Sidara and WG should also provide comfort.

Sounds like a merger would be bettering.

With the synergy of engineering expertise and regional heavyweight Sidara a merger could lead to tremendous growth and expansion in the ME business.

For me a TO or merger will propel the MC.

Really interesting time to be invested.

I can’t see either party walking away from this.

Some traders are happy with 30%.

If all the planets align then this share could land around £2.30-£3 so the multiples are huge.

That’s why JPM is accumulating.

Shorts must start to close to avoid a big loss.

Sp should jump into the 40s on open - steady rise up. Ow into Sidara offer.

After 4 months of trouble and strife an RNS tomorrow stating an offer will be much needed relief.

Plenty of musical chairs last two days so I am optimistic that Sidara will succeed.

The intellectual property in WG highly coveted. The prestige in owning this is immense.

Unlikely to be less than £1.5 per share and as nothing as changed other than SP since they did their DD the likely to be over £2 per share.
