The 30p sets the floor. Up from here. Sid is desperate for the company and hopefully during a bidding war it will need to raise the offer.

Two months to relisting and a bidding war could happen during that time.

It is not clear to me how long a second bidder has under the rules to effectively guzump Sid. A deal will only happen once the shareholders vote for a company resolution.

A long way to go and Apollo and/Jacobs could swoop in and start the bidding war.

Then people may sell at 28p or higher.

My remaining concern is whether the IIs will accept 30p and pocket the cash injection.

To the IIs the deal is worth 85p plus.

I suspect short position holders looking to resumption of trading and hoping to get out before massive upward movements in SP.

The sentiment has changed since suspension and was deliberate I think to stop the share price completely collapsing. The accounts are nearly ready in my view and now the share price should rise rather than collapse.

The longs have won the day.

Primary responsibility of BOD is shareholders not their own pockets. That is a crime.

With the publicity of this the Directors could not pull that one and avoid prison. The chairman would I hope sack the BOD before anything could be done by way of sale to Sid at 30p. So no.

Wondering if this will be when the accounts are approved.

Two options:

1 - walk away but desperate for the company

2- increase bid to a number and BOD reject it.

Option 2 is a nightmare for Sid which has coveted WG for years.

Sidara - what chancers!

The BOD has done a brilliant job in proving the position described in the Feb update.

I have said all along that plan B would be realised.

The last unknown is weather Sidara is going to be serious about a takeover price, 30p is a haggle price Arab style - but we are not in Arabia but the UK.

Either put up or disappear Sid. Forget the cash injection and focus on a realistic price - the institutions will want their investment back at least.

Up is the message

I want an independent future - not bought out by Sidara.

If no extension then the default is Sidara can’t offer. Fingers crossed for this.
