Although previous news has dropped the price it has recovered within days.

So, I am holding for gold. Maybe 90p tomorrow.

Think the market has factored in the results already and we should see gradual rise from tomorrow. Equally, if upside news, it could rocket 100%.
Been in this business too long, seen the patterns before.
Hopefully on US open and oil price rise we see the sp rise into the close.

Perfect conditions for breaking 65-75p range.
Sure the results will reflect exceptional circumstances but the story is positive, would have been worse without the hedges. Also, compared to the majors the results should look respectable.
The sp will rise in anticipation of this being a multi Bagger.

If we assume 55Kbblsd at $70 then this is roughly £1b. E/R of $1.35.

I know I am being conservative on production.

In the last quarter Tullow could have cleared £400m.

This company is generating serious money.

Will be interesting to read the full year results and assumptions for the future in tomorrow’s update. Many of Tullow’s peers like Cairn & GKP have seen share prices in the £2 region, this is where Tullow will get to.

All eyes on Wednesday for Tullow. Been a long journey back from the edge. Safe now and much to give confidence. 70-80p is in sight. I wonder how it will unfold, broker updates, drilling results, debt repayments, and other nice surprises. On top of what we know of course.

In response to the issue of $2tri in the US.
If the dollar theoretically devalues by the rescue package it must follow that the resulting price of oil must rise to maintain value parity. On top of this we have the production restrictions being maintained for another by opec.
Therefore oil price will rise into the 70s and maybe 80s by early April.

Can’t see Tullow remaining at this cheap level for many reasons, intrinsic and otherwise.

My view and investment bet sees the £1 barrier being tested in the coming few weeks. Who thought the conditions would alter so quickly for Tullow.

My belief is that oil and the news next week were pushing this up. One or the other is good but the perfect firewater is both together. Well.
If oil climbs into the 70s on Monday
Tues the price will breach easily 65-75p range. In reality’s unchartered waters, the sky is the limit.

I bought at 7.8p in March.

I am sure there shorters, spreadbetters, derampers and various forms of the rat that are cursing the inexorable rise of oil. The only hope of salvation was the Opec meeting.
So I am of the strong opinion and desire that the sp quickly trots through the 50s and into the 60s before 9am on Monday.
Where are the doomsayers may I ask. Surely Tullow will fail they say. Feel we have been so rewarded for holding for gold.

Monthly OPEC + meeting finished and agreed no rise in production. This news couldn’t be better for those invested in oil companies like Tullow. Sadly for you If you sold today yes you made a little but now if you want to get back in first thing Monday you will be met with an auction.

If oil breaches $70 today the panic buying on Monday is going to be awful. I expect the MMs mopped up today quite expecting this.

On top of this we have the company update on Wednesday which won’t be bad, making a change. It is most likely to be exceedingly good. The sp is going to go bonkers.

Anyway, for those invested you have a gem and when this is well north of £1 we will look back at the last 12 months or madness.
