I agree it makes sense to have the freedom to to choose drill positions based on the information as it develops. However, there is no excuse for not releasing updated info on the holes already drilled. The shares bought and options issued last week were with the latest knowledge of the drill positions and orientations so the rest of the market have also the right to this information.

I thought he sounded shattered in the podcast. XTR also had an update this PM where there was a hiccup with one of the drills. I suspect he had a bit of a fraught weekend so I felt a bit guilty for pushing so hard for clarification but glad to have received it.

I'm lost too but the RNS says holes 5 is being drilled towards the north-northwest
"The rig was has now been moved approximately 250m to the northwest to drill hole BRDD-21-005 at -70 degrees towards the north-northwest with the aim of drilling across the deposit about 120m down-plunge from hole BRDD-21-003."

Looking at the Toodyay Resources ASX doc from 2007 there is an IP diagram. I have no clue how to read these but the red colour has a sort of hook shape at the top and wondered if they were trying to test what the top left hand side of this represents in terms of the ore body.

I do think it was great to get confirmation SZ is still in the offing and hopefully getting closer. A bit disappointed that we needed to push so hard for an update and that it came via a podcast but hopefully an RNS to say things have kicked off is in sight. KCB drilling will be very exciting but I will feel more comfortable when SZ promises are delivered.

Is anyone able to let me know what the last communication about the JLP zinc circuit was? Afraid I'm not a shareholder here but curious from GLR point of view.

Who's going to risk their reputation and name a date for an RNS that states we have commenced mining SZ and are delivering to a customer?

There was no mention of Ka****u. I wonder if JLPs longer timeline for Zinc may mean they lineup?

I don't want to burst your bubble but I'm not convinced CB meant March for SZ but I could be wrong. KCB is likely to be ongoing for some time so they can still run concurrently later in the year.

It means that it sounds like there are still things to be finalised ( eg who the customer is!) before the plan is ready for execution.

Looking forward to news of revenue from Star Zinc.
CB didn't mention issueing the final results of the KCB survey (although he did mention drilling this month) or Ka****u. I am hoping Star Zinc delivers so that we can all enjoy the excitement of drilling the KCB knowing we are already generating revenue. It sounds like SZ still has a bit to go. Maybe Glenover will deliver this year...

The April presentation set out a 12 month plan. The budget allowed for upgraded IP survey ($150k) and drilling ($200k) on the other prospects. I wonder if the limited budget for drilling the other prospects was not to scare investors, a recognition of the limits of what could be achieved in 12 months or some idea that this would add value without fully proving all the prospects.

BTW I'm not at all tenacious.... :-)

It would be good to get current drilling diagrams with any update (if they have changed). I'm curious to know if people think we have been and are still following the original drill plan (I'm not convinced that we are). I realise that as knowledge develops the targets for drilling may change but I thought we would have been updated.
